Daughter loves this present as it allows her to design dresses easily. She chooses a theme and we all have to make one for it :-) The material frays an awful lot after use though. If they had machined the edges it would have more longevity

Fiddly but keeps the kids quite for 10 mins

Bought as an extra birthday present for my 7 year old daughter. Pack contains a good selection of materials and accessories. She has enjoyed putting them together.

I bought this for my niece (10), and she loved it. So did I! We used a marker to trace the dress pattern onto the material. We used a cake board underneath to keep the marker from marking up the table. You’ll need scissors that will cut the material, and although it came with two sided tape, I found that some glue dots that I had on hand worked better. The backing on the included tape was difficult to remove. This set had lots of beautiful materials, bows, and ribbons to choose from. No real sewing was required, but if you wanted to teach a simple straight stitch, this would be a great place to start. What a wonderful set to use to teach basic sewing techniques and design concepts! However, that doesn’t have to be the focus at all. Kids and adults will enjoy playing with this set.
