Their claim to fame is that its complex carbs which they are. Potatoes, Rice and corn. Its just really hard for me to tell if this drink is pushing me through my workouts better honestly

If your an serious athlete/lifter who is aware of his carbohydrate intake, this is a must. I have used it in the mornings by itself and i can definitely say i felt no real spike in insulin. Did i check my blood sugar using a glucometer? No, but after years and years of manipulating carbohydrates intake i feel pretty good at my ability to gauge how carbs are effecting me. But then again i don’t use big servings. I mostly use small servings in conjunction with my creatine pre and post workout.

I am so sick of protein drinks, supplements, etc. So I wasn't thrilled about ordering this under my trainer's demands. However, I was in for quite a surprise! I opted for the Lemon Lime and it is actually pleasant! I look forward to my scoop before the gym. I put it in a shaker with some ice, put it in the freezer for a few minutes and it's like a delicious lemon lime slushy. Not only that, I have so much more endurance and strength when I drink it before my workouts. I'm sold!

Used this powder for keeping a baseball player hydrated during double-header games during a summer showcase league. He doesn't like lemon-lime flavor, so I mixed the powder with a flavored water to improve the taste for him. He normally drank one 24 ounce drink before a game and another during a game. He supplemented these with additional bottles of flavored water. He showed no signs or symptoms of dehydration or energy loss.
