I have had HP computers and others over the years but realized that I wanted to stick with HP. It does everything I need it to do and has given me no trouble. I like the touch screen, I've heard people say that the touch screen in their computer causes the screen to be less clear, but I find the screen as clear on my laptop as on my HP desktop. The battery could last a little longer, but it is no problem to plug it in when it gets low. I haven't dropped it yet and hopefully won't. It looks and acts like it did on the day I took it out of the box. I'd say it is quite durable!

I was misled by this seller. Do not buy from them! Because they altered the computers hardware prior to my purchase my warrant was voided. Getting help from the manufacturer was extremely difficult because of the voided warranty. The seller was no help. My computer has had unexplainable issues that were finally diagnosed by HP that the hardware the seller installed is not compatible with the computers existing components and that’s why my computer is having so many problems. Now I have an expensive computer that’s basically a paper weight. Seller is not being honest in their dealings and needs to have a better knowledge of which components are suited as compatible with each other so they don’t tweak and sell computers that don’t work properly.

Make no doubt about it, this is a budget PC. In the pictures it looks like all other HP laptops. And being in IT for the past 10 years I have ordered dozens and dozens of HP laptops for our employees. But I personally needed a budget PC and decided to give this one a try. And while I do believe it to be a good value, one has to be prepared to get what you pay for. While you do save money, you have to be content with getting less in certain areas. From a computational perspective this laptop does the job just fine for your basic streaming and application processing - just be prepared for it to be quite noisy when the fan kicks on to keep things cool. The case, and especially the keyboard, is quite cheap. It will get the job done but it is a far cry from the business class HP laptops I'm use to working on. There is no key backlighting which I have grown fond of over the years in upper level models. The display is lower resolution (1366 x 768) which can be challenging when filling out online pop-up forms where the form is taller than your display! The display itself, while plenty bright, is hampered by a very reflective coating which can act more like a mirror than a display if you've got windows or bright lighting behind you. The display also has a narrow viewing angle - get much outside a straight-on view and the displays grows quickly dark. The sales page states there is a privacy shutter for the webcam but there is none. Selling points for me were the HDMI port, headphone jack and smart card reader. And one of the biggest reasons I purchased this deal was to have the Office 2021 lifetime license. I did have one question I posted to the seller and to my surprise they responded in under 24 hours. Good stuff! For the price, you do have to make some concessions but if you're willing to give up some for the keyboard and display, I think you'll find this a good deal. And only time will tell if the lower price ends up effecting its service life.

This is a graduation gift for my granddaughter, both sets of grandparents donated equally to purchase this item. From my research, this was the best bang for oue dollars. It is loaded with features that she will need as a freshman in college. It came with windows office, licensed for the life of the computer, and we purchased the assurion extended warranty.

My previous feedback/review stated that my laptop was missing the key for MS Office Lifetime License. After the seller contacted me, I found that in fact MS Office 2021 was already installed on the laptop (as advertised) by the seller, and no separate key was necessary. I'm just starting setup, etc. and thought all I saw was a "trial offer" Office. Many thanks to the seller for straightening this out. 100% happy with the laptop, and the follow up service.

This computer was supposed to come with Microsoft Office license key. There was none in the box and nothing preloaded on the computer. The seller contacted me after they found out and immediately sent me my activation code. The computer is great. Runs very fast and smoothly. Have had for a week or 2 and couldn't be happier. Great computer for my daughter's college classes

great price and it work good
