So y Bravia 8
I as a bit quick to review this tv the first time I switched it on but since then it’s had an update and tweaked a few settings and I’m very happy with it now nice clear bright picture

Sony Quality
What more can you say other than the usual high class Sony product. Could be brighter but that aside nothing is perfect. Overall a nice TV.

Returned Due to Tint and Banding
I wanted the Sony Bravia 8 to be a solid upgrade, and while the image processing was genuinely excellent, the panel quality let it down. Mine had visible tinting, uneven greys, and vertical banding that really shouldn’t be present on a premium Sony TV. It feels like Sony just isn’t delivering the same level of quality they used to.Thankfully Amazon handled the return quickly and without any hassle, and I’m happy they accepted it straight away

Software updates have broken the TV
Do not touch this product with a barge pole. Recent software updates have broken the TV functionality. It was an excellent TV when purchased and I was very happy with it. But, Sony have made a complete mess with the software updates that almost completely destroys the television experience.

Brilliant TV at a great price!
The picture quality on this TV is spectacular coupled with great sound creating a cinema like effect in your own home. I paid £200 less than Curry’s from Amazon and Argos didn’t stock this model. Delivery was great within 2 days of ordering. All in all a great price for this top end Sony TV can fully recommend.

Decent TV with good picture quality and Sound
Nice upgrade from our previous “Cheapest OLED” you can buy.Pros:Picture quality is really good.Works without logging in to Google! It runs android ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but I have Apple TV plugged into it and use that for “smart” features. It does not nag about logging in to Google repeatedly.Sound quality good on its own.Cons:Only one HDMI port supports eARC. For the amount of money spent I expect more ports to be able to wake up the TV.Sound kept going out of sync over optical connection to a Denon Soundbar! The Soundbar has been rendered decorative now!

Oustanding Oled TV
Outstanding 55" oled smart TV. Bought to replace an 8year old LG 55B7V which is also excellent but doesn't have e-ARC so wouldn't work with a Sennheiser £900 soundbar. (Not the tv's fault - Sennheiser should have made sure a premium soundbar workd with older TVs, hence the soundbar was returned). The remote is not good - the volume buttons are too close to the end that you hold. Sony you need to stop penny pinching with these.
