Absolute powerhouse!
I upgraded from a 350w Hiboy Nex5 after a couple years of use, and could not be happier with my choice. As a 6', 220 lb rider with size 12-13 shoes, this is a fantastic ride for someone my size. I generally only ride on the "sport" mode which gets me 25 MPH, and 80% of the charge gets me 21-ish miles. I don't ride "eco" as it's slow, and "race" is too much for my confidence level. I bit off more than I can chew but don't regret it. Pros: - Speed and acceleration! - Battery lasts forever - Steel frame and stem are good for magnets (airtag, keyring, light, etc.) - It's huge; perfect for taller/bigger riders. EASILY fits both feet on the board - Suspension is great! - Hollow stem is great for security chains/locks - Includes a detachable seat; I haven't used it. Cons: - Very big and heavy; may not fit in some car trunks. It doesn't "lock" in its collapsed state, but has a strap that you loop around the footrest while picking it up by the stem. - Brakes often squeal or sound like a bicycle coasting behind me Some things to be aware of: - This is very heavy as it's made of steel rather than aluminum. It handles accordingly. - The motor is on the rear wheel only, and the left handbrake brakes the rear wheel only (right brake does front wheel). This matches my old Hiboy so the muscle memory works great for me; it may not work for you! - The grips are not comfortable for me, but are easily replaced as the handlebar is the standard 22mm. The right handle must be shorter than the left, so either cut down a replacement or get a set with different lengths if you don't like the stock grips. - It has a horn, but it's a "hey I'm here" sound instead of "get out of the way!". The sound doesn't match the look of the scooter. - It came with a "free bag" that doesn't really fit this scooter well. Fits great on the Hiboy though.

Buy it right now 2025
I recently bought the KuKirin G4 2025 model, and I’m super impressed! The build quality feels premium and very sturdy, perfect for both city commutes and off-road rides. The acceleration is smooth, and the top speed is insane for its class – it easily hits around 45 mph without feeling shaky. The dual suspension system makes the ride extremely comfortable, even on rougher roads. The battery life is another huge plus – I’ve been getting close to the advertised range (around 40-45 miles) on a single charge, which is perfect for long rides without worrying about running out of power.

Good but defective
The Kukirin G4 electric scooter is a fun ride. I've been using for the past couple of months to get to and from work. I'll start with the good: it's fast, smooth, and relatively light for the speed. I feel very nimble and quick when I ride. Now the criticism. The bike only has about a 32 mile range in the city. The battery life is about 60% of what is advertised. The throttle is defective. It will occasionally get stuck open which can be very dangerous. However it also functions as a cruise control once you get used to it. When you come to a stop, the scooter will sometimes fail to start until you get off and push. This appears to be some sort of safety feature which ironically makes the scooter less safe overall. After some time the stickiness goes away, however, and you get used to the safety too. Overall, a decent scooter. Perhaps they will fix these defects in a later model. UPDATE: top speed has been capped to 15mph. Borderline scam product

Best bang for your $ at this price point
I bought the Kukirin G4 scooter after researching the best performance for the cost. There are faster/more expensive scooters and slower/cheaper scooters, but this one hits the sweet spot. Right from the start, it's evident that the build quality is top-notch. This was not my first scooter... I was ready for an upgrade from my 20mph one. This was quite the upgrade! The G4 is designed well and the build quality is SOLID, with a bright headlight. The scooter came 90% assembled... just needed to attach the handlebar and optional seat. (I skipped the seat.) It took about 30 minutes to assemble and 12hr to do the initial charging of the battery. (Don't skip this part!... if you do, you could reduce the capacity of your battery. ) The frame feels sturdy and the platform is plenty wide for people w/ big feet like mine. The G4’s folding mechanism works... although I rarely fold it up. The braking system for a scooter this fast is very important and it is very responsive. I recommend and use a full face helmet (not just a bicycle helmet!) b/c you only have one brain... protect it! The ride is smooth because of the tunable shocks and air-filled tires. The motor is powerful enough to climb inclines, but you want to make sure you practice being smooth on the throttle... this scooter accelerates quickly! The battery life is good... (of course if you are running it a full throttle your range will decrease rapidly.) I can easily get through a long commute w/o worrying about running out of power. The display is bright and easy to read. Overall, the G4 offers great value for the price. Maybe a little heavy for a daily commuter if you have to carry it up stairs, but otherwise it's a great choice.

It is great definitely risk involved just keep maintenance up
This scooter is pretty fast a little scary but fun if you are a thrill seeker I would give it five stars but after 2 weeks of having it my brakes are worn out haha I be speeding once you get it make sure to lubricate the steerings and shocks and every ride you ensure everything is nice and tight don’t tighten the steering wheel to hard screw can break but it comes with replacement safe riding

Great value. Super FASSSSSTTTT
I recently purchased the G4 scooter without high expectations, but it has truly impressed me. I previously owned a ninebot scooter, but it doesn’t compare to the G4. This scooter is incredibly fast and not suitable for beginners, as it can be dangerous if not handled properly. If you’re considering this scooter, make sure you can confidently control a scooter at speeds up to 30 mph, because the G4 is really fast. I weigh 180 lbs, and I’ve reached top speeds of around 38 to 39 mph. This scooter is well-built and definitely worth the money. If you’re on the fence about buying it, don’t be – it’s a great investment. Buy Ian's safety first wear the proper gear.
