A well built case with a high quality, adjustable, and replaceable lanyard (even has O-rings in screwed-on end caps to prevent them from backing out accidentally). The choice of clear polycarbonate on the rear of the phone showing the phone's colour is a good idea. At the start, I was slightly worried about the ability of the case to retain the phone if dropped while the lanyard is held, but so far, it hasn't happen once, and I done this multiple times over the last month. I can now safely say this will prevent drop damage as long as the lanyard is over the user's neck. This product should be used with a privacy screen protector (even if it's an all plastic one) to prevent screen-peeking when the phone is dangling around your torso. Perhaps this case manufacturer should include it considering the premium price being charged. I also wish the case was just a bit thicker so the camera bump is fully removed. The extra thickness and slight increase in weight wouldn't matter much for a case that's not designed to go into a pocket. The price is going to be a sticking point for a decent amount of perspective buyer (£30 at time of order). However, if you bought the A55 during its launch year along with this case, it will last until the phone is EoL in five years time when treated with the same standard level of care as if the phone was bare. That's pretty good value over time for a near drop-proof case.

OtterBox React Necklace Case for Samsung Galaxy A55 5G Case is clear and covers back and edges, no screen protector included. The case has two built in holes on the bottom for the nylon neck strap. These stick out slightly but look secure as part of the single molded case. The neck strap can be removed if wanted and offers length adjustment. Only real issue is the neck strap runs along the bottom of the case, and you will need to move it out of the way to use the charging port. The case is very lightweight at ~40g, but provides good edge and corner protection. Its semi rigid but easy enough to fit round your phone and has cutouts for the charging.

I used this case for a weekend away and I think it's great. I have other OtterBox cases and the quality is still premium for this one. It makes it impossible to lose, so you don't have to worry about it when you're on holiday or visiting some new place. The design is clean and looks decent for a necklace style. I would recommend it to anyone.
