Perfect for providing the essentials of clinical research and program evaluation to accompany other texts and sources (or as an overview). Written in clear language with excellent relevance to the clinical and counseling fields in psychology. Captures the nuances in measurement in mental health as opposed to non-clinical experimental fields well. Recommended for those who want relevant information for outcome measurement and program review in one resource.

Any random explanation on the Internet is better than the explanations in this book
I had to purchase this book for a research class I am taking. I use the book to find psychological terms and concepts I should know, and then I use the Internet to research those words. Any random explanation on the Internet is better than the explanations in this book. One of the very worst books I have ever had to read for a class. Unless you are required to use this book, do not waste your money on it.
