A New York Times Bestseller In this “unequivocally hilarious and delightful” ( Kirkus Reviews ) young adult romp for fans of Recommended for You and A Cuban Girl’s Guide to Tea and Tomorrow , a teen girl has the worst Valentine’s Day ever—only to relive it over and over again. After living through a dumpster fire of a Valentine’s Day, Emilie Hornby escapes to her grandmother’s house for some comfort and a consolation pint of Ben & Jerry’s. She passes out on the couch, but when she wakes up, she’s back home in her own bed—and it’s Valentine’s Day all over again. And the next day? Another horrendous V-Day. Emilie is stuck in some sort of time loop nightmare that she can’t wake up from as she re-watches her boyfriend, Josh, cheat on her day after day. In addition to Josh’s recurring infidelity, Emilie can’t get away from the enigmatic Nick, who she keeps running into—sometimes literally—in unfortunate ways. How many times can one girl passively watch her life go up in flames? And when something good starts to come out of these terrible days, what happens when the universe stops doling out do-overs?

Romantic comedy with emotional depth
A witty, feel-good romantic comedy with emotional depth. Perfect for fans of Better Than the Movies, Tweet Cute, and Groundhog Day.

Cute and fun!
This was my second book by the author and it was such a cute and fun read. The witty banter and the chemistry between the MCs was perfect and the plot was quite interesting as well. I was mostly giggling and kicking my feet while reading this, and I’m not even joking- this book is just that much fun and cute for me. It started off with Emilie having the worst Valentine’s Day and then having to repeatedly go through the same day again and again. She tried various ways to stop the day from repeating, but nothing worked until she decided to do everything she wanted and deal with the consequences later. I really enjoyed reading about their Day of No Consequences and how Emilie finally stood up for herself. The relationship between the MCs developed quickly, and although I wish we could’ve seen more development, I understood why they felt so strongly about each other. It was quite magical, the way both the MCs found their way to each other, and I love that. The grand gesture at the end made me tear up a little and you’ll have to read if you want to know why;) This was a quick read and I really had a great time reading it. I would definitely recommend reading it if you’re looking for a quick and fun read, especially during Valentine’s Day, since this book(as the title suggests) is a Do-over of Emilie’s Valentine’s Day(not a spoiler as it’s in the blurb)💖

YA romance
The ending could be better! But the book is nice. If u liked this I would definitely suggest reading Seven Year Slip or vica-versa…

Taylor swift references>>❤️
Also—thanks to Taylor Swift, for writing songs that feel like books. I started this book after seeing its playlist on an Instagram post and Taylor Swift's references which were cute! 😭✨ But it was an okay-ish book. Cute moments here and there and that's it.

Short, good read.
I loveee Lynn Painter especially her book Better Than The Movies which is my favorite book of all time. I definitely recc it. I've also read Betting On you. This boo arrived in good condition. However it didn't give me the same feeling as Better Than The Movies. But it was still a good read. It's good for a short, fun read.

The Do Over
I wasn’t quite sure if I would like this book, but I ended up absolutely loving it. This book was just so cute and funny, and it was a crossover between Ferris Buellers Day Off and Groundhog Day. I normally try and over the cliche of the time loop, but this ended up being my book club @friendswithbooks April book of the month. So I decided I would give it a go and I am so happy I did, this was just perfect. A 100/10 read and a definite recommendation. “It occurred to me that the two of us were seeing that moment in entirely different ways. I was desperately hopeful that he would remember it all the next day, and he was memorizing every moment to look back upon fondly”

Sweet, heartfelt Rom-Com
This book is about the 16 year old Emilie, who wants to have the perfect Valentines Day. And the charming yet gloomy looking Nick, who couldn't care less about this day. But when they meet each other, and in some ridiculous situations at that, both are not so sure if their perception about this day is the right one. I loved these two MCs. They are acting like their age (+ life experience), but they are still reasonable about their behaviour towards others. For example, Em sees her boyfriend kissing another girl, Macy. At sixteen, you think it's the worst feeling ever, because how dare he and what not. The consideration, if he doesn't kiss her in this time loop, then it didn't happen, is correct but futile. It shows that she is still just sixteen and learning about what she wants in life. Because you can think like that and if you happy with it, be my guest. But in my opinion, if you have to actively stop your boyfriend from kissing another girl, he doesn't deserve your time. So she deals with it but accordingly to a teenager. In the beginning I had some hesitation because of her age, because usually I like my FMCs a little bit older. More in the New Adult Genre but Emilie's age is not too pronounced and doesn't slip into childish. Nick is a charming young boy, who doesn't care about Valentines Day. He sees Em like she really is and doesn't entertain her antics about a 'perfect' day and leads her more to an 'happy' day. But read it for yourself and find out what I mean by that 😉 This book has charme, quip and an adorable lovestory. So all in all 5 stars.

Absolutely loved this one
A little nervous going into this one just because I’d read a Lynn Painter book before and really wasn’t a fan, but wanted to give another one a go and I’m so glad I did because I absolutely loved this one. It was such a light easy read. It had me laughing out loud many times. I loved reading the replayed days and see Emilie change little things. I adored Nick, it was adorable right from the start. I enjoyed seeing the growth with Emilie herself as well as with the people around her. I do wish it had a little bit more of Nick and Emilie together but other than that I absolutely loved it and I can’t wait to read some more of Lynns books 😍
