GOLDEN GIRLS Seasons 1-7 The Complete Series Collection Season 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 DVD Review: I brought this as a present for my wife as she loves the Golden Girls. Was very disappointed when this came, all the series DVD are shrink wrapped together. I would have thought it would come in a box or at least a cardboard sleeve. I looks like individual series DVDs have been packed together. Bit of a swizz if you ask me. Not only that they are NTSC not PAL and don't play on a UK DVD Player Review: I never watched any of these shows when they were on. I'm only watching them now because I just finished binge watching the Mary Tyler Moore show, and really loved how Betty White stole every scene she was in. So I grabbed this since I had heard for years that it was supposed to be a great show. I'm not quite THERE yet with loving this. It's good, definitely has its moments, but I'm still in the first season and waiting for it to hit its stride. People I've talked to said ride out season 1 and then I'll be very pleased with it when they started getting things down for each character. But I'll say so far it's still a good show. But what REALLY pleased me - the DVD's. I know many people complained that it's not a single box set for the whole series - but so many of the ones that do that have horrible boxes and it is a real pain dealing with the discs in them. The MTM show was like that. And the other great factor, something that frustrated me so much with the MTM show - these all have PLAY ALL as the default option when the disc is inserted into your DVD player. MTM had a lot of clicking to go from one episode to the next. Not these. So if you're a fan of the show, these are definitely worth getting.
