Awesome lights and customer service
I’ve been using the SANSI 34W Grow Light for about 4 years now, and it has been absolutely awesome. This light has allowed me to grow massive, healthy plants completely indoors with strong growth, great leaf size, and consistent results year after year. The light output is powerful for its size, energy-efficient, and reliable long-term—I’ve never had issues with it burning out or losing intensity. It’s perfect for houseplants and makes a noticeable difference in plant health and growth, especially if you don’t have ideal natural lighting. If you’re serious about indoor plant growth and want something dependable that actually works, I highly recommend the SANSI 34W grow light. It has more than proven itself over time. 🌱💡. Last week I had to use their customer service for blown bulbs and it was top notch service and hassle free replacement.

comparing 15W vs. 24W vs. 36W
So at this point I have purchased 3 different sizes of Sansi grow lights, 15, 24, and 36W over the past 3 or so years. They are all excellent bulbs, so bright it is annoying to have them pointed at your eyes. I was attracted to the Sansi brand thanks to a few online reviews, especially some that used their own spectrometers to confirm that these give a proper full spectrum including a little UV. I like to think my bird likes it too since she can see UV! I wonder if the UV helps with winter depression? In summary: I recommend the 15W for individual low-light houseplants, like a mini moth orchid, succulent, or mini African violet. I recommend the 24W if you have a small collection of plants. I recommend the 36W if you have a medium collection or want to grow a fruit/veg.. I recommend multiple 36W if you have a large collection or a small tree, but if you have that many plants you probably already know what you are doing. ;) Of note: Of note is that the bulbs do get hot after running about 12hrs a day, so it hurts a little to touch the diodes directly, and do not put them in lampshades that would restrict airflow. They do not run hot enough to affect the plants whatsoever though. I have to put my hand 1 inch away from the diodes before my hand detects it as being hot. I think the passive vents do a great job of directing the heat up and away rather than down towards the plants. Also of note is that there is an audible coil whine when any of the bulbs are on. This is not loud or obtrusive (I regularly have one about 3ft from me when I am studying), but it is noticeable if you have young ears. It is also worth noting that the light cone is fairly narrow/focused, so plants directly under the bulb get significantly more light than those around the periphery. This is not a bad thing; it means more of the light is efficiently being beamed on your plants instead of scattering around the room. Below is a comparison of my personal experience with the 3 sizes: The 15W was excellent for a tall desk lamp with a few mini African Violets huddled around it. It was insufficient for outdoor plants that like full sun such as Egret Orchids. I upgraded to a 24W once my plant collection grew to the dozen mark, so I could have a larger illuminated space to work with. Of note is that this bulb was visibly warmer in color than the 15W or 36W. It reminded me of a nice incandescent bulb's glow. I am not sure if this is a consistent thing with the 24W or if it was just my bulb. Otherwise, the 24W was actually my preference for houseplant use with my personal setup. I bought the 36W for a friend to use in a fish-tank sized terrarium, again, for the wider radius able to cover more plants. It is strong! It would be interesting to see if more outdoor semi or full-sun type plants would be satisfied by the 36W; it is a very bright bulb. As is, my low-light houseplant African violets needed to be placed an extra foot away from the bulb to stop from getting sun burn or bleaching. I would mention that the bulb is quite heavy at this point, so if you are using a flexible goose-neck lamp, make sure it is nice and stiff or it might sag under the weight. Tip: If you have a proper light sensor, it is super handy when setting up your plants around your new bulb. I resorted to the free Arduino Science Journal app on my phone to compare light intensity (in lux units), and using recommended lux levels from google for my particular plants. I get about 22K lux directly ~1ft below the 36W bulb, for example, but about 8k lux ~2ft directly below. I currently have my mini african violets arranged in a ring of ~2ft diameter, about ~1.6ft below the light. This gives them the recommended ~7k lux of light according to google.

Carnivorous plants love it
Very nice and bright lamp, girlfriend bought it first and it was so strong it sunburned a few leaves on a flytrap haha. HOWEVER she had it pretty close, like wayyyy closer than my image. As seen in the image I read it’s not the best idea to keep it in a hooded lamp because it is vented to increase its lifespan but it doesn’t make the lamp shade itself too hot which is good. The 36W is so bright it can easily light an entire bedroom, uncomfortably bright at times and even indirectly do not try to look the bulb head on. The bulb doesn’t get super hot to be a concern to my plants and what warmth it does give off is a benefit to grow especially indoors where mold can be a concern if you have wetter plants like mine. This bulb also has a 5 year warranty and estimated 25,000 lifespan which is pog 🤌🏽

Great bulbs
Has worked great since I got them months ago. Sadly one of my lights got pushed up to my plants so it burnt the delicate leaves on a few but it obviously does its job. They are growing and producing more leaves and flowers so my plants are reacting to the Sansi bulbs more so than other brands I use

They do honor the 5 year warranty
My cacti are thriving with the 36-watt bulb! It is huge, and it does need ventilation around the bulb to allow it to cool, so make sure you have an appropriate fixture to put it in. I originally purchased it in 2022; it's now 2026, and I've had to have it replaced twice, meaning I'm on my third bulb and approaching a year on my last replacement. At about the one-year mark, every one of these bulbs has had issues. I've had one stop working completely and two that have had a few LEDs burn out. Each time I contacted Sansi, and they honored the five-year warranty without hassle. As long as they continue to honor their warranty, I will continue to recommend their lights! If not, it's too expensive for a one-year bulb.

Absolutely fantastic for multiple plant coverage
Fit: The standard E26 base screwed perfectly into my clamp-on desk lamp type fixture. The 36W bulb has some weight to it (about a pound), but it sits securely in the socket without making the adjustable arm of the clamp lamp sag. Ease of use: Utterly foolproof. I just twisted it in, clamped the lamp securely to the edge of my plant stand, and instantly turned a dark corner into a thriving 4000K daylight environment. Dimmability: Keep in mind that this specific 36W model is strictly non-dimmable. I run it at full blast anyway to ensure I get that maximum 3250-lumen output and high PPFD to reach the lower leaves of my money tree and peace lily. Heat generation: This was my biggest worry with a 400W-equivalent bulb, but SANSI's hollow ceramic heat sink design is incredibly effective. Even after leaving it on for 12 hours straight, I can touch the ceramic body without burning my hand. Value for money: Best investment for the price. Instead of buying several weak, flimsy halo lights, this one heavy-duty bulb provides intense, full-spectrum (400nm-780nm) coverage for my entire clustered setup. Ease of installation: It took exactly five seconds to set up. No complicated wire hanging kits or special mounting hardware required—if you have a basic clamp-on desk lamp, you just screw it in, point the optical lens at your plants, and plug it in.

Well made, happy plants
This has worked very well for my plants since purchase with daily 8-10hrs/day use. Very bright and doesn’t seem to get hot although I don’t have a shade over it. Sturdy build, slightly heavy but it’s a large bulb. Very happy and plan to repurchase when it’s life is over.

Great light, but does not last anywhere near the stated life; great customer service
I bought 4 of these grow lights over about an 18 month time span. The first pair had smooth LED circles, bought in Jan 2021, while the second pair have round bumps in a circle pattern, bought in April 2022. I found that the first lights with the smooth circles lasted longer (about 18 months), while one of these newer lights lasted less than a year. The lights are on about 12 to 15 hours a day, every day. When the first light flickered, flared, and went out, never to turn on again, I reached out to customer service and they had me send them a video of the light not working. They immediately sent me a replacement. A week later, the second light died, so I responded to my original email thread and, after sending a new video, received another replacement. The failures occurred in June of 2022. About 2 months later, one of the lights I bought in April of 2022 flickered and died. This time I wasn't able to connect with Sansi customer service via Amazon like I did before, so I tracked down their website and found a way to contact them there. I didn't expect a response, but they did reply quickly and sent me a replacement as soon as I sent my video over. And as I sit here writing this review, the 2nd light I bought in April of 2022 is flickering, but so far is holding it's own (I turn it off for awhile when it flickers). The lights are great when they're working - if it weren't for them I'd be living in a dark and dreary home with no plants. And the plants do really well under these lights. I'm disappointed in the longevity, but happy for the prompt replacements. When one of the replacements burned out I decided to replace with a grow light from a different company, to see if it lasts longer. It is much more expensive, but if it lasts as long as it claims to last then I think it will be worth it. I do want to mention that I also own the Sansi 30 watt grow light that has the four adjustable lights in one fixture, and so far it is working fine (it is now one year old).

Excelente producto
