I have the original wooden Dr.House cane from 2011 and it is starting to fall apart. I bought a foldable one and it was not as good as the doctor suggested. I missed my cane and came across this and read the description and saw the price and took a chance. I don’t like the handle I need to add a foam grip. But the rest wow it is so much more solid than the one I bought. Its design is perfect exactly like my old cane. It’s a lot lighter than I thought it would be but man is it easier to use being so much lighter. The graphic has a nice pattern and the flames much richer in color. Instead of one bungee cord it uses two and once connected together it is a solid piece of metal that is normally weaker not this one. Adjusting the length is simple just starting out one going down and assembled. It is a cane it does everything it needs to, functions fine. As I said in the beginning the handle is not easy for me to grasp due to a wrist issue. My palm is not liking the handle because I have to hold it differently than others. Which makes it sore but it is worth it because of how much more solid it is. I tested it by raising one foot and walk braced against a wall to ensure it was strong. I use it to stabilize myself until my fractured foot is healed. Then will use it more frequently, If you need a good collapsible cane that doesn’t feel like it is going to break this is it. Dr. House would be pleased to use this. I bought the 4 footed stabilizer suggested by amazon after using the hurrycane and wow now this cane is better than out of the box. Better cane now.

Product was as advertised and looks very nice. But the resin top coating chips fairly easy. Be very careful where you leave it, if it falls it will chip.

Lightweight, but solid. I used the heck out of it in the first 4 months after hip surgery. Easy to fold. Confidence-inspiring. And, the flames made me smile! The adjustable height is great, too, when going from non-skid socks in the house to shoes outdoors. I had a wood cane, but this lightweight carbon fiber is a big improvement.
