The bottom of my cup is not flat. There is a rounded surface to it. It makes the cup wobble when placed on a flat surface. Is this normal for the cup?

When I first got my mug, I had to spend an hour, scraping the sticky rubber off the bottom, and when I did some hard plastic remained sticking out from the middle on the bottom.   That sticky rubber prevents the cup from sliding but I don’t live on a sailboat.

Does anyone have problems with being able to drink all contents?  I just got a 16-oz hot bev cup.  No problems with the seal at all, but it seems like once I get to about 1/2 of coffee/tea left, no more liquid comes out of the drinking hole, and I have to remove the lid to finish the beverage. To this point, this ruins…

When the cup starts getting down to around 1/2 way empty, your nose starts touching and blocking the little air vent in the center of the lid. This prevents liquid flow. Once you realize that this is the problem, you’ll become aware, and avoid pressing your nose against the air vent hole. TIP: You could drill another small hole up towards the opposite edge from the mouth hole. I’d drill it 1/2 way in between the current center hole and the outer edge, to avoid interfering with the seal.

You have to screw the lid on very carefully; it's possible to have it slightly cross-threaded which allows it to leak. Be sure to turn it backwards a bit until it's firmly seated, then proceed to screw it on tightly and it won't leak, even after weeks of use. Being plastic with only 1 thread it's a bit trickier than screwing a metal nut onto a bolt.
