Does a great Job!
I recently got my hands on this 6+R H-pattern shifter, and overall, I'm impressed with what it offers for the price. Itโs a fantastic deal considering the features packed into it. The desk clamp is sturdy and makes mounting super simpleโno wobbling even during intense simracing. I also love the extra two buttons. Theyโre handy for assigning additional controls, especially in beamng or fh5. One standout feature is the extra sequential knob. Itโs a game-changer if you like switching between H-pattern and sequential. Plus, the sequential mode feels smooth and preciseโitโs a joy to use. The hall sensors are another big win. That said, itโs not perfect. The shifter can get a bit clunky and loud, which might be distracting or annoying, especially if you play late at night. Itโs not a dealbreaker for me, but itโs worth noting if noise levels are a concern. All in all, this shifter is a solid addition to any sim racing setup. For the price, the features and performance are hard to beat!

Works perfect for me
Okay yeah this is great. No issues at all for me. It's USB-C on the base to USB-A on the PC. The supplied cord is probably 7' long - which is a couple feet longer than I needed so that's perfect. I am using it in iRacing right now. Have not tried it on many games. It says you can set it up through steam. Will have to try that for Assetto Corsa because AC did not natively detect it through Content Manager. Rennsport however run through epic automatically detected it. Will update this review once I test it properly on steam but for now - 5 stars. Worth noting, iRacing will not let you use H-Shifter on cars that don't have an H-Shifter (you can still use sequential) but there were cars I wanted to use H and cannot. Not an issue with this device, just iRacing will not let you use it on cars that don't have h-shift ability - and that's a lot of cars on iRacing. Feels sturdy. I think I would have preferred 6-speed with R but 7-speed is okay too. Makes shifting into 3rd, 4th slightly more difficult and 5th much more difficult. Again not an issue with the product just the way 7-speed manual works. Oh and it's got a ball and a stick option. All metal. Very solid

Great H-pattern Shifter, Sequental mode is available but unreliable.
This is a review of the CNRAQR 7+R H-pattern Gear Shifter with Clamp. I bought this because one of the youtube reviewers stated that it could be used as both an H-pattern shifter and a sequential. While I was never able to get the sequential mode to work reliably, the build quality, feel, and reliability of the H-pattern mode convinced me to replace my thrustmaster TH8S. I've been using it for 2 months and haven't had any issues other than the sequential mode not being reliable. So if you are looking for an H-pattern shifter, at a really reasonable price, I can highly recommend this one. But if you are looking to switch back and forth between H-pattern and sequential, you may want to look elsewhere. The Clamp is better than you would expect. If you clamp it to a table, the table will move before the clamp does. Very secure.

Great budget shifter
(Update) I went into the device manager to see when the buttons are pressed and I got the sequential adapter to work properly, I had to secure it about 1/4 inch off the top of the plate and now it reads the inputs as it should. The magnets in the adapter are pretty strong and the problem I was having before was apparently the button (magnetic sensor) was stuck being on or reading as pressed, raising it up about a 1/4 inch moves the magnets on the adapter into the sweet spot where it reads correctly. This is a great 7+r h pattern shifter. I plugged it in and it worked right away. The shifter I got has magnets in the shifter rod that get picked up by 8 position sensors on the boards instead of the micro switches I've seen on other shifters like this. They function perfectly in h patter shift mode but I can't get the sequential adapter to function properly. I'm not sure if it's because the magnets in the adapter are to strong and causing interference, or because they are too far away from the sensors to pick up the signal properly. I was excited for the sequential mode since I've never had one of those shifters before and I'm a little disappointed it doesn't work as shipped. I'm gonna try and get it to work but if I can't it is what it is, it is a budget shifter after all. For the price I am very happy with the shifter itself, I just wish it had been the micro switch version so the sequential adapter would work properly.

10/10 E-waste, 0/10 shifter.
Its loud, its hard to shift accurately, and 6th gear stopped registering after 10 days.

good
5 stars for what it is, obviously it don't compare to the real deal, but for the price it is amazing, a lil noisy, a lil cheap feeling, mostly noisy and also like not as tight, but with a couple of mods if would get very close to a moza or a fanatec one.

Functional but lacking in build quality
Been using this shifter for a week and a half, it's ok. Really needs instructions for the sequential mode, as stated in other reviews, the plastic piece has to be raised slightly for it to work but once I figured that out it's been mostly flawless as a sequential. I found it's a lot easier to find 5/6 gear with the long shift knob, and it is nice that it comes with both a ball and cylinder style knobs, but my ball knob came with a scratch into the metal. My unit also has an issue with the front fingers that grab the shift arm and hold it in gear, they'll sometimes push off to the side and it blocks me from shifting into any of the top gears until I stick my finger in and push them back. It feels good when it's working which is most of the time. Overall I'm going to keep running this shifter until it dies, but if I could have had it in my hands I would have went with a more expensive one. The build quality is worse than I was expecting for 50 dollars with the scratch in the shift knob and the loose front fingers that move out of alignment, this is QC and yours may be better. I expect this to last less than half as long as the moza shifter I was looking for that's twice the price, when something brakes inside it I wont be surprised, but for now it does the job.

Worth every penny.
Was instantly recognized by my PC, no additional drivers needed. Works with fanatec wheel. Very simple but very solid construction. Really compact but gives the feeling of a regular size shifter. Shifting into gear has a satisfying feeling. There's not really anything on here that can break, shifter never makes contact with the circuitboard. It uses magnets to sense so anything magnetic close by will interfere with the shifting. It even has this 'adapter' that lets you shift it like a sequential but it's not a very quick changeover. I have to remap the bindings to get it to work on my game but I didn't get it for that. So if you're looking for a sequential/manual you will most likely have to look elsewhere. Compared to the other shifters out there for $100+ this one does everything I want it to. Worth every penny. ( get the 7 speed version, it's only like $2 more )

Sequential Mode does not work properly
Overall is a loud clunky H pattern gear box. You can gate in from 1st to 4th gear with ease, but very easily miss gear the 5th and 6th gear. In Sequential shift mode it only works with down shift. Should have purchase the TH8S instead of this :/

Perfect
Best feeling and beautiful shifter I have ever own. I liked the top metal plate, it feels great compared to other shifter that has some kind of plastic attached to it.
