Awesome saw! Took out 2 trees my porch. So much more to cut.
Love it. Runs better than any of my other saws and 1 is a stihl. I think im going to stick with Husqvarna. Its a little powerhouse with the 38cc motor. Runs unbelievably good. And so comfy when cutting. Love it!! Took 2 trees out then trimmed and bucked them. Saw ran flawlessly. My porch was easy to take out. My Poullan pro 42cc 18" bar fits this. I tried that , and I like the way it cuts with the 16" better. 38cc motor is powerful , but it's just doesn't get it for an 18" . A 14" in would really ripp. Echo, poullan and husqvarna are compatible for certain things. Husquaverna wanted the same pith and depth for Medium duty saws including120 Husqvarna echo 16" and poullan pro 18,16 and 14" all compatible. I believe echo owns husqvarn now. All related all great medium duty saws. I have a stihl ms170 16" 30cc? I think. Bought it in 95, poulan pro 18" 42cc and the 120 16" 38cc husqvarna. And my 94 kx250 2 smoker 😅 man its a freakin animal!

Went right through a 20 ft palm tree no problem.
Bought this because my 20V Dewalt wouldn't stay sharp enough to cut through a single palm tree. This one struggled too but it easily 3x more powerful than an electric chainsaw. I love it and got a big orange hard case for it. If it can go through a palm tree it will make short work out of any hardwood tree. Even when brand spanking new I had trouble getting it to start. Going back and forth between starting and adjusting the choke between attempts is always a pain. It's temperamental but once it does get going and smooths out it works fantastic. Cut down a 20ft palm tree into 3 sections. Always remember to keep your chain lubricated and get a chainsaw sharpener tool, you'll need it. Very happy with my purchase.

Good buy
This is my first personal saw, but I’ve used saws fairly extensively for work. Bought this to buck up a fallen tree in my backyard, and so I can have a saw on hand in case I ever need it again after a storm. Worked great on the tree in my yard (50-60 foot oak). I was worried the saw would be a bit small for the last 20 or so feet of the trunk, and it is, but that’s not an insurmountable problem and over all it has proven to be an absolute workhorse.

It will do...
Saw preforms like a champ... Uses a bit more bar oil than I would like, I haven't taken the time to see if it can be adjusted. The saw does bog down a bit but nothing too bad. I don't particularly like the positioning of the chain tightening screw but all in all I'm happy with the performance.

Worse Purchased Chainsaw.
After hurricane Beryl blew through Texas, I lost 2 big trees in my backyard. Did my research on chainsaws & narrowed it down to two brands. I ordered the Husqvarna 120 Mark III Gas Chainsaw, 38-cc, 2-Cycle X-Torq Engine, 16 Inch Chainsaw with Automatic Oiler (2024 updated) for my down trees. I have never owned a “quality brand” chainsaw. After it arrived, I read & followed the manual, watched the manufacturer videos on “Proper Starting.” I started the chainsaw & let it warm up as directed. I proceeded to the backyard & cut for 30 min & this chainsaw started smoking/burning/stinking on the outside (right side). I rolled the chainsaw over to look for the smell. The orange housing was melting in on itself. I had only cut a short time & into a Bradford pear tree (soft wood) at that. I turned it off & took it to the garage to cool. I haven’t touched it since. I had a 50/50 chance on the 2 chainsaw brands i narrowed it down to. Obviously I chose poorly. I should’ve listened to all my friends & went with the Stihl.

Great chainsaw.
I wanted to share my positive experience with a recent purchase. I bought a little chainsaw for our camping trips, and it has been excellent. It was easy to start up the first time and has started every time since. It's lightweight and works very well for my needs, cutting through logs, branches, and just about anything else I've needed it to. It's truly a good little powerhouse chainsaw. And price was very affordable.

Good saw , it is slightly small for what I like but still usable. It can be slightly tough to start until you get used to it then you will be fine with it.
