A Walk Through the Woods

Very pretty book. Made for older children that will be more careful as the pages could easily be damaged by little, tiny hands! You’ll love it!

Such a cute book!! My friends daughter got it for her 2nd birthday and my 7yo daughter asked for it as well so we bought it for her birthday recently and she's OBSESSED. It's definitely helped us get her to be more interested in reading. The pages are well-illustrated and colorful.

Rating based on Quality and price is a solid 5 stars Rating based on my expectations is really a 3/5 stars This book is beautifully made with great quality. The artist who made the paper cut out is very skilled and deserved every penny they earned. But I came across this book from searching “pop-up books” and the paper cut out was so well made they look very 3D from photo alone. But in reality it’s a very flat book with a hole cut out in the center of each page, which is a slight let down from my expectations. For disclaimer I did grew up with some of the most amazing pop-up books in the 90’s, and I was really thrilled when I thought I found something like that, but this book is nothing like those pop-up books. But given that this book was 40% off for $11.99 and how beautiful the pages are I cannot give this book anything less than a 5/5. But if you were expecting an amazing pop-up books, this book isn’t that. To address someone’s concern with sharp cut outs, it is true, the leaves are very pointy, but at the same time this isn’t a book that I would let a young child read on their own unless I already accepted the fact that they’ll destroy the pages. If you’re an artist who wish to learn something, this book is definitely amazing. Final thought: thank you for creating such a beautiful book!

A darling book to read to the Great Grandbabies!

Pretty, but relatively thin paper with many fragile points. Not child friendly.

This book is wild. You open it and the forest literally jumps out at you. Trees, owls, mushrooms — everything’s popping up like a magic trick. I grabbed it thinking it’d be a cute kids’ thing but I ended up sitting there flipping pages like a five year old going “whoa.” It’s solid too. Not one of those flimsy pop-ups that tear the second you touch them. This thing feels like it can survive sticky toddler fingers and still look brand new. Every page feels like a mini adventure and you don’t even have to swat at mosquitoes. If you want a book that makes you grin and say “that’s actually pretty cool” every time you open it, this is it.

Kids loved this book

This book is beautiful. The words are sweet but it’s the artwork and the intricate cut outs that leave you breathless. This may be the prettiest book that has ever spoken to me. I have purchased two for myself, one to frame entering the forest and one to frame exiting the forest. This will also become a gift for a new mom or an aging friend. This book was originally purchased for a new baby and though it is perfect, a young toddler will quickly both love this and tear it to pieces( without supervision) but purchase it anyway. You will never regret it.

No me llegó empaquetado pero está bien y de buena calidad

The book showed a potential to be another hit with children. It looks like it's a pop-it work, but it isn't. And my toddler kept feeling all the pages assuming they pop or there's a texture. It's a flattened out images of I'm sure a very well done hand crafted book. I wish that was what the publishers sold! Alas!

A beautifully produced book, very delicate for small fingers

It is a nice book, but I thought it would have more pages and more depth. Depth is mainly given by drawing, and not by pages.
