The leather is nice and soft, of good quality. Sole margin is brown, not black. They have more of a delicate look, rather than punk-rock one. Still cool though. Expect to have to break them in. Cheers

I bought half a size up and they fit perfectly. The boots are well made and soft, design and stitching are as per every other Veronica Combat out there however the brand / size markings and labels on leather and on soles are either missing or very different from the pair I already own and from those sold by the manufacturing company proper. Are these seconds? Copies?

Terrific styled boots, excellent quality craftsmanship and materials. I recommend going one full size up from your usual for a good fit. I'm Canadian sized 8 to 8.5 and the 9 was snug, although shoe grease and stretchers were helpful in my case, something to consider if you purchase these.

I love Frye’s and I love the color and quality. Price was crazy but they only had the one size and color I wanted so I had no choice. But I don’t have any regrets, love the feel and quality of the boots as mine felt soft and did not need break in time.

These boots are cheapest on Amazon. They are an expensive boot but you get what you pay for! Worth every penny as they look much more expensive than any other. I didn’t need a shoe horn to get them on my foot and I found them super comfy right out of the box. I do suggest a half size bigger than you regularly wear.

I loved these boots when they came in. They were a present for my 11 year old niece. Very stylish, cute, and comfortable. I own several different styles of Frye boots so when it came time to purchase for her I went with Frye because I knew they would last.

Order half a size up. I bought these for outdoor use in the rugged Arizona wilderness. Tried them out for the 1st time two weeks ago rock collecting and was very impressed. Am always worried about twisting an ankle so decided military boots would be the best. These are very slim fitting black boots that can also be worn to work. Extremely well made and comfortable with a pair of medium thick socks. I foresee these boots lasting at least ten years. They cleaned up well and I am extremely happy with this purchase. I just purchased a 2nd pair of these combat boots in the pine green color. I want one pair in the black to wear to work and a 2nd pair for hiking in the AZ Mountains and wilderness. I absolutely love these boots. Thank you Frye for making these exceptionally high quality boots. The break in time was less than one day of wear. Extremely comfortable!!
