I cannot recommend this item enough. We had a groundhog that would not stop going in our backyard, nothing seemed to work. This absolutely works. I set up a trail camera in my backyard. I took this inside during a snowstorm, and what did I see on the trail cam the darn groundhog came back the moment this was taken away. This owl has a permanent place in my backyard well worth every cent.

Super cool owl - unsure of its effectiveness yet but it does everything it says. Size is great and it sounds right.

We bought this for the deck on our cabin to try and keep squirrels out of the area over the winter. Immediately after we put it up, the squirrels ran off. Our only concern would be the short cord for charging. We have it screwed down and have to use an extension cord out to the bird to take care of it.

Looks amazing, I like how it turns its head and howls. Use it in our fountain area to keep ducks out, so far so good

This owl is very light and the plastic feels cheap, on windy days it can tip over or even roll a bit. I used it outside for about three weeks and already after two weeks the motion and sound stopped working normally. I added a video to show it, it tries to turn on but only makes the first sound and then fades, and the head moves maybe twenty percent instead of a full turn. I bought it to scare hawks because my chickens free range, and for that part it actually works. I move the owl every morning to a different spot and since I started using it there were no hawk attacks. So as a simple decoy it does the job, but the mechanical features that I paid extra for - broke way too fast. Because of the quick failure and the higher price I can only give it three stars.

Product worked as described for about two months and now does not hold a charge deeming it useless for our needs. Tried to go through Amazon to contact the seller but while on the Amazon app it says product is ineligible for a return or replacement and didn’t allow me to contact the seller.
