Great Wireless Tracker Module, Perfect for Meshtastic!
I'm really impressed with this wireless tracker module. It's surprisingly easy to set up – the manufacturer has great documentation for getting started. I used the Arduino IDE and Meshtastic firmware with no problems. This is an awesome tool for anyone working on Meshtastic-based projects. The price is also fantastic compared to similar modules. Highly recommend it if you're into WiFi, GPS, and LoRa!

Aerial missing
Arrived without an aerial, fortunately I had a spare from another project. Everyone else is working ok.

Heltec Wireless Tracker seemed absolutely great but fell flat on it's face.
On paper, this compact Heltec Wireless Tracker (v1.1) board looks great and in developing Lora and GNSS STEM boards, I thought this would be ideal in the R&D lab - however, I quickly learned this was not the case. The board arrived and although powered up, sat quietly like a lemon doing nothing. Only the glimmer of an LED showed it was partially alive. No display. This was returned and then in reading more about this board, it seems that so many people have had issues in one way or other for a long time. The Heltec Wireless Tracker appeared absolutely great but fell flat. The support pages seems very active but equally very dysfunctional and confusing. Best not bother and waste your time. Awarded a single star for trying.

GPS antenna has a deep scratch through the metal. GPS not picking up any satellites - suspect faulty
I received this this morning and have flashed with metastatic. Everything works except the GPS - there's no lock even outside with a clear view of the sky and no case. Update 02/09/24 - Vendor has reached out and is sending a replacement. Very friendly customer service (I've changed my rating from 1 to 3 stars as cant' fault the vendor and other than the key GPS component the product works. I will update again when I have tested the replacement). Updated 14/09/24 - Vendor sent replacement very quickly - no complaints - replacement seems better but still has issues picking up gps signals initially - works 100% in all other aspects,
