Bioaid Hemoglobin Test Meter kit with 50pcs strips

I’ve been using the Biotech Hemoglobin Test Meter Kit for two weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed with its performance. The device is compact, user-friendly, and gives quick, reliable readings every time. First and foremost, I could tell the item had been previously opened. The box was crumpled and damaged, but not from delivery, by someone who had attempted to open and reseal the box. The screen protector was missing, the vials holding the test strips were misaligned. And, just out of curiosity I counted the test strips and a few were missing which made me further question the fact this unit had been purchased, used and returned. Beyond that, I did put the batteries in and the LED screen did not even try to light up. Therefore this review is not of the actual functionality of this machine, but the fact a medical device which uses blood no less, was used and resold as new. Obviously returned!!

I was very pleasantly surprised to find Bioaid home test kit gave result within 0.2 g/dL of the professional equipment at my local blood donation center. I only withheld the fifth star of rating because I so far cannot find the PC software that goes with the data export facility via the unit's micro USB port. But the unit does store results sequentially number, so it essentially has your hemoglobin database built in. Instruction manual is for two similar models - this one seems to lack Bluetooth, but the USB port serves same purpose - if I could find the PC software.

Excellent if you're taking hormone replacement treatment, specially Testosterone. You check it weekly before getting your dosage and you'll have a better view if you have to donate blood or adjust your diet.

Reads high compared to doctors and blood bank tests. This unit measured 19.5. That's high so I went to give blood and they measured it @ 16.4. After the blood draw I tested it again and it was 19.5. Should not be off that much. Been to this blood bank 6 times now. Trust there readings.

The media could not be loaded. La máquina es difícil de usar, Pero no es precisa! Me duelen los dedos de tantas veces que lo intente pensando que estaba haciendo algo mal. Pero en realidad lo ise todo como lo indica en las instrucciones y aun asi me salia un resultado diferente. Lei mil veces las instrucciones… entonces no estaba haciendo nada mal. Entenderia si cada resultado tuviera un intervalo de .04 o algo asi pero era mucha la diferencia. Gaste mi dinero y mi tiempo en esto para asegurarme que mi nivel de hemoglobina estuviera como debería y tener un control de ella y no fue lo que esperaba. Estoy completamente decepcionada.

This hemoglobin meter seems pretty accurate compared to the lab test. Also, it's very easy to use with a nice operation video that helps a lot.
