This collar is pretty cool! The whole collar has the kind of material that velcro sticks to so you can add custom patches! We made one special for our dog and he constantly gets compliments on his collar. It’s part of his personality at this point. The handle also comes in handy in so many instances you wouldn’t think until you need it. He’s had this collar since he was a puppy so it has been a part of his training and helps me keep a guiding hand on him without having to grab his collar or restrict his breathing. It’s helped in situations when I just wanted him to stand and watch as crowds walked by and craziness unfolded, but he stood like a statue at my side, under control but not restrained. I think it’s comfortable for him even when he’s sleeping. It is a thicker collar so recommend for larger breeds.

Durable, Comfortable, and Reliable for Active Large Dogs I’ve used these collars for my Dobermans and have been very pleased with both the durability and overall design. The material feels strong and well-constructed without being overly stiff or uncomfortable, and the collars hold up very well for active dogs that spend a lot of time outdoors. One feature I particularly appreciate is that the collars can release under enough pressure rather than remaining rigidly fixed at all times. For dogs that run, explore wooded areas, or spend time on larger properties, I personally prefer collars that do not feel overly restrictive and allow a little more flexibility during active outdoor use. The hardware feels sturdy, the adjustment stays secure, and the overall appearance is clean and tactical without looking cheaply made. They also seem comfortable for daily wear and do not rub excessively against the coat. You can also order Velcro attachments for them such as their name, but they came with the tag that show that say no touch no talk no eye contact.. Purchased this collar for my 4 month old German Shepherd pup who was 24lbs at start of use. Easy on, easy off, easy to adjust. He is currently 11 months, still fits great, little wear and tear and would have continued to use.. except he is now 56 lb and without warning he pulled on his leash and the plastic clip snapped like a twig and he was free. 🫤

I have opened several of these collars for my 105lb service dog (had to buy multiple as he was growing) these collars are excellent in quality and durability. I am replacing this one only because it is 2 years old and a little worn but by all means still fully functional and comfortable he handle is great for control in tight spaces and when he decides to be a butthead (when he is at home with out his vest, he is off work, so he is just line any other dog he plays and gets into things and due to his size he can inadvertently knock over my wife and young child) so the handle comes in very handy; additionally it was handy when training him.

Collar is very nice and feels like great quality. But for some reason my dog got a rash, bottom side of his neck. Tried losing it but continues giving him a rash.

Paired this with a 30ft long Biothane longline for use training a young Belgian Malinois. She incredibly powerful already, so I wanted a wide collar with a handle to help control her when needed. I looked at a bunch of similar collars, but settled on this one for one glaring reason. The handle is next to the D-ring, so when walking your dog on leash, the handle is at the back of the neck for quick and easy access. Others have the D-ring located opposite or at least further away from the handle. That means you'll have to reach around towards the front of the dogs neck (likely from behind) in order to grab the control handle. This collar is very sturdy, and as a daytime/work/play collar should last for several years at least. Strong hook and loop closure in addition to a reliable metal buckle. The wide width spreads the pressure on the neck from pulling across a broader surface area, so safer for the dog.

This is just too much collar for most smaller and probably a lot of medium-sized dogs. It's thick. It doesn't give. When you dog lies down, the collar will fully retain its curve and hover above his neck like a hula hoop would. The collar doesn't soften up and get more flexible with use, either. I hoped the *inside* would feel mostly comfortable (one rough spot inside couldn't possibly be comfortable), but the outside is downright unpleasant to touch. That's a minus if you like to just, yknow, pet your dog a lot. It doesn't seem to slip, size-wise, but it is a pain in the butt to adjust, and it's hard to be sure if it's adjusted correctly because of that stiff hula-hoop thing it's got going on. Also, all the color choices seem deliberately drab and homely, unless you want a straight-up black collar, which I guess some dogs look good in but not mine. My dog wore this thing for about 6 weeks, and I'm happy to say I just replaced it with something more manageable yet still padded a bit. I think he's gonna be a lot more comfortable now.

Good product but stupid buy for my dog, as a schnauzer I thought at least the small size would fit him but no. Way too big. But good product.

Good as described

So far this looks fairly robust. I had seen some pictures on the reviews of broken pins in the latches but seems to work well. I ordered the medium for my 3 month old Malinois and on its tightest setting it just fits so should last awhile measured 14 for the collar and neck was 13 and fits well. Now I just need to get a name and training patch. The only thi g I didn't like so much was the handle is good but the tag d- ring is on the side not on the bottom but will manage. I would have preferred the sand colour but wasn't going to pay double the price of the green.
