Strong and good safe strap, much better than the one I first brought of a cheap website that lasted 5 mins! Fits comfortably on my dog and has a little bit of padding for top of nose area and it’s lightweight but well made

Was a bit wary having read other reviews but this fitted my cocker spaniel really well, was easily adjustable and easy for me to quickly clip on her. I showed it to her and even put in her bed for a couple of days before I got her to wear it and after a couple of times where she shook her head she soon realised it was ok. I’d recommend this.

Bought for an anxiety reactive dog and it does a great job. I bought one then had to replace it with a different size, just to give her a little bit more space, despite measuring first. Made very solidly, no real sharp edges and firm plastic design could still be shaped a bit under hot water. My dog has a fairly slim face and it fits with no issue, and has a little padded piece to sit over the bridge of the nose. The clasp is easy to do and has a little locking feature as well. I don't use the extra shield that can fit inside the muzzle to prevent scavenging so can't say much about it. With a little bit of time and training, my dog is also mostly happy to wear it (only a few attempts here and there to rub her face on the grass, but that isn't specific to this muzzle). My dog also learned to drink with it on without too much trouble, and essentially I can reward her with treats through the gaps. As far as cons go - yes, there is a bit of room under the jaw to allow the dog to open their mouth, and mine can comfortably pant, but like almost all muzzles on the market, it's not truly big enough for unrestricted jaw movement and you couldn't leave it on for long periods. A dog cannot yawn in it, for instance. And finally, the soft padded strip for the nose is secured in place at the sides but does move about which can lead to the plastic sitting on the dog's face. I tried to hot glue it, but it didn't hold up well. I expect a better glue will fix that though. It seems solid enough to help with bite prevention, though I have not specifically had cause to test it, and I'm happy with it for the price I paid

Been using this muzzle for a few years because I like its colour on my yellow labrador so doesn’t look too menacing however I did used to have to wrap it in duct tape so that it didn’t irritate her. Some of the plastic bits did used to break off and the fit wasn’t fabulous, but it was the best I found for her however just ordered a new size 8 and they have updated it. Muzzle plastic was thicker. There was more room. The strap was better. The protection on the nose is better. I am very impressed with the upgrades and I’m sure this one will last much longer. I’ve always used them purely because it’s the best fit but now I have to say I highly rate the new updated version.

Too small around the neck despite following measurements. Very little fabric to allow adjustment. Dog would have overheated due to being unable to pant in this muzzle but thankfully he chewed it apart in three seconds flat. Absolute rip-off.

Good, strong and fits well, only one downside is the clip is a bit small and fiddly

Sturdy and adjustable cage muzzle. We've started using it on our GSD who is over 8 y.o. and got used to it on the 2nd day. You can boil the muzzle to adjust the shape of it, but we didn't need to.

Acheté pour ma chienne Podenca. Je craignais qu'elle soit beaucoup trop large pour sa truffe très longue et très fine. Mais en fait, c est effectivement très large, mais la chienne apprécie beaucoup. C est le modèle qui lui convient le mieux de toutes les muselière qu'elle a eu. Les deux branches en plastique qui passent sur les joues sont super efficaces . La museliere est bien stable. C est la première qu'elle n'arrive pas a s'enlever. Le fait de ne pas avoir de lanière qui passe entre les deux yeux ne pause finalement pas de problème. La couleur discrète et accordée au poil est moins anxiogène pour les passants.

Unfortunately, this broke while I was still getting our dog used to it. He was not wearing it often and it is clearly the plastic that had some weakness and just gave way, there was no pressure of any significance on the muzzle. It’s a shame because otherwise it would have been a good one.

I bought these because my dogs eat plants and other things they shouldn't. I purchased two: a size 7 for my pointer and a size 8 for my lab. I was worried about the fit, but the muzzle fits each dog very well. It fits snugly against their face and the strap is adjustable for comfort. I went by the recommendations on the chart provided. My pointer is considered a pocket pointer and weighs about 46 pounds. My lab weighs about 83 pounds. I've tried the size 8 on our Golden Retriever/Lab mix. It fits him fine, too. The catch was hard to open on both, but it only happened one time for each muzzle. Since that one time, it has opened easily. Neither dog has managed to remove the muzzle. They both run around just fine and are able to pant as far as I can tell. The scavenger guard is far enough away from the end of the muzzle that my dogs have not been able reach things they shouldn't. (My lab has tried!) Any dirt is on the end, but not much on the guard inside. They've been wearing them daily since March. The muzzles seem to be sturdy. Even with daily use, they have held up well so far. Both dogs have carried on as usual while wearing them.
