Being without her isn’t an option for me. Or her. The Protector She’s in danger. Just the thought of this threatens my sanity. I’ll do anything to keep her safe… Even things that she doesn’t agree with. If she thinks stalking her was bad, Calista’s in for a surprise. The Prisoner Hayden is certifiable. And I love him. What I don’t like are his methods of protection. Except the more perilous my life becomes, the closer I get to him... And the secrets he’s keeping from me. Soon, I don't know who poses the greater risk: the villain out to end me or the one in my bed. Now You're Mine is the final book in the Possessing Her duet. This book contains explicit sexual content and a morally gray hero that's over the top jealous/possessive, a stalker who falls first and harder, has Touch Her & Die energy, and is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her. A complete list of the trigger warnings can be found on the author's website. This print edition includes a bonus chapter. Review: who doesn’t want a stalker??? lol - This is the second book in the duet, and after the cliffhanger in the first book, I could not wait to see how their story continued! I absolutely loved their journey, and the author does such a great job of pulling you in and keeping you hooked. What I loved most was that even through all of their trials and tribulations, they stayed true to their feelings for each other. Their relationship definitely had its challenges, but that just made their story even better. If you love a possessive MMC and a strong-willed FMC who isn’t afraid to stand her ground, this duet is definitely worth the read. I really enjoyed their story from beginning to end! ❤️📚 Review: Pretty saucy - This waa my first experience with this author. I really liked the steamy antihero mr bennett. Good read. Give it a chance.

Spoilers ahead ****************
I was really enjoying the second book. I love how Calista found her voice and was starting to be snarky and make her needs known however, the forced pregnancy and then it was never mentioned. She just had the baby and Hayden never said that he told the doctor not to give her the depot shot. I am all for fantasy in control, but that really bothered me other than that. Good story.

I read through Once You’re Mine in a matter of hours but they didn’t compare the minutes it felt like I poured into this book! Amazing plot, characters, and in all honesty just a well rounded dark romance!

If S+@lk•h3r Romance is your vibe
This is book 2 of the Posse$$ing her duet and it was just as good if not better than the first one!! 🚨 if you haven’t read the first book Once your m!ne you NEED to read that one first this is a duet and it will not make sense to you as a reader without first knowing the start of it all.🚨 ✨Dark Romance ✨S+@|k•h3r Romance ✨T0uch her & ☠️ ✨M@rking ✨K!d•N@pp!ng (just a small bit) ✨M3d!c@ti0n Tampering ✨SPICY 🚨 Make sure you read your TWs 🚨 Okay so in “Now your mine” you start off where Morgan Bridges left us cliff div!ng in book one.. when Callie is demanding answers from Holden about the pearls and their significance.. From the first chapter Holden had me laughing/chuckling with his thought process and how he handled certain situations.. The man really didn’t get personal sp@ce or giving her time to think things over (I found his antics hilarious) In book 2 Morgan gives us the full picture, she answers question that were left open in book one all while still telling a story that kept me as a reader on my toes!! I needed to know not only how Holden was going to justify all he had done and continues to do but I also needed to know how the heck was she going to stay with him once she learned the truth… if you know you know and let me tell you I was shook on how Holden was able to pull all that off (but in a good way of course) 🤭 Book two definitely had a lot more details and grit on the storyline and I was here for it because the SPICE let me tell you the Spicy scenes were definitely spicy and well detailed!! Overall, I would say that this book was definitely worth the read and I loved Holden and all his s+@lk•h3rr ways!! He was definitely a join to read about… they both were really!! Happy Reading babes

I Will Always Chase You
This is my first Morgan Bridges series. I was very nervous about how this one would turn out because the first book ended on a cliff hanger. I totally don't love those. Luckily, this one was already ready and waiting!!!! Some things I loved: the voice of this author is SO good. It's relational and a little snarky, quick witted and elegant, with a tension that keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time. The power dynamic was sensational. It really plugged into both sides of how you work together when dominance and submission are challenged during everyday life. I loved the tattoo and the clock countdown. The ending tie in was wrapped up in a beautiful bow all around. The writing word choices were on the highest level.

Spice is great, but plot is lacking
I LOVED the first book, Once You’re Mine. I did like this sequel but I definitely felt like the plot was lacking, to the point where it was distracting. I know dark romances aren’t supposed to be necessarily realistic but it kind of threw me off. Calista’s (and even Harper’s) reactions to certain things was just so minimized and unbelievable. Important details and revelations were glazed over, and I think opportunities were missed to better explain or justify things. And how Calista reacts to things and acts, was honestly giving teenager vibes which was throwing me off. Overall, it is still a good read, especially the first 2 thirds of the book. I just felt that the last bit felt kind of rushed. I would say this is a good read for someone who values the smut factor more and doesn’t care so much about a good/believable plot. Of course, I love the spice myself, but a bad plot is distracting for me and can pull me out of it (not saying this plot is bad, just not great). *MINOR SPOILER* Calista wakes up and finds Hayden’s name tattooed on her and her reaction is, no joke, “ugh that’s annoying but whatever.” Like it is literally never talked about. And Calista has next to no reaction when she finds out that Hayden killed her dad. She literally carries on conversation and just tells him that she needs time. I don’t think I even remember her crying. And when she tells Harper about it, Harper’s reaction is literally “omg what are you going to do; classes start in 2 days.” Like what kind of reaction is that?? And some elements of the story were completely unnecessary and just added for drama and ended up being distracting but it didn’t make sense. Like how tf did he manage to tattoo her in her sleep? I know she was on paid meds from her fall but there is no legal pain med that will keep you knocked out through an entire tattoo. Did he drug her?? Oh the irony if he did! Who knows, it’s never talked about. And why did him tampering with her birth control have to be added in? That whole part could have been left out and she could’ve just gotten pregnant normally. All I can think about is she’s inevitable going to find out that he did that and all the drama they went through in this book is just going to repeat itself. And then the whole story is about this mysterious evil person who’s connected to Calista, her father, Hayden, and his mother and it’s this huge build up all leading to the man kidnapping Calista. And then Hayden kills him within like 10 minutes. Like that was the entire climax and it was over in 5 pages!
