GORILLA GRIP BPA-Free Space Saving Ice Cube Tray and Bin Set, Turquoise

Purchased the ice tray that has the silicone bottom from another brand and it didn’t work very well, ice cubes got stuck. So purchased this set as the old fashioned twist of the tray and the cubes come out very easy. Don’t have to defrost or run under water, just slightly twist and they pop out into the bucket. One tray works extremely well, but the other takes a little bit of more twisting or turning upside down onto the bucket and pushing it out from the backside. Don’t know why there is a difference between the two trays, but they still work for what I need. I love how I can also make different size cubes by not putting in as much water in each compartment. That way if I don’t need to cool something down as much I don’t need to use the full size cube. The cubes are a good size, not too big and not too small. About an inch on each side depending on how much water you use to fill the compartment. The little scoop is cute and can scoop up the necessary cubes that you need. Overall I am very happy with this set. Been using it for about two months now. The lids fit perfectly and come off easy when needing the cubes, and I like how they stack well with the lids when freezing the ice. Would highly recommend this set. Wish I could buy more trays and lids only to have extra ice frozen, but the bucket only holds about the two tray fulls so guess that’s why it only comes with the two. Either way, very glad that I purchased this set instead of the silicone type. This works much better!

We use these constantly (Florida summer) and love them. One has a lid so they’re easier to stack. Very easy to release, as advertised. Larger tray than normal so we get more cubes every time, so less refilling needed which we appreciate. Highly recommend.

I like how the ice cube trays fit into the rim of the container acting as a lid, just wish the container was a little taller so more than one tray of cubes can be stored at one time, more than that and the 'lid' can't fit without wobbling. I'd love to find a similar set that makes larger cubes too, these are small and melt fast.

I love the size and shape of the ice cubes. I do have arthritis and they are very difficult to get the cubes to release. That may improve with use. Does not take long to freeze. Love the stackability.

I really like these they work really well. I love that they aren’t silicone so my ice doesn’t smell weird. The cubes are a good size and you get so many of them with the two trays even just one is still a good amount.. I like that there’s a lid on each of the trays so that the water doesn’t spill out upon transfer to your freezer after filling it and you can stack them a lot better with the lid on. They came out very easily from the first tray. It was a little bit more challenging on the second but all you really need to do is run a little bit of cold water over it and dump it out with a bit of light twisting. It’ll do enough to loosen the ice cubes if you do it cold, but they won’t melt. I would say it still works better than a lot of standard plastic ice trays. I’ve really small hands. I think it looks visually fine, better than standard ice trays. I like the colors available. I got black and turquoise because they were a dollar cheaper at the time. I don’t know why people complain about the design though because it’s just an ice tray. It’s not the centerpiece of your dining room table.

After having two ice makers go bad in the past 2 years I decided to go back to ice cube trays. This a wonderful set. So glad I chose it. Ice cubes are a nice size and last a long time in my insulated cup. Perfect! Same thing I feel about keurigs. They don't last long and are overpriced. Went back to $40 coffee maker and am happy as a clam

Awesome product!!!! My ice maker broke and I ordered some silicone ice trays. They were a bear to deal, taking forever to get lids off and empty, then pushing every cube section back in. It was a frustrating experience. So, I ordered the Gorilla Grip trays. It took one twist and all the cubes came out! The lids had a little tab to pop off. Start to finish, maybe a minute - including refilling. I love this and cant say enough good things about it!

Bin is tiny. It only has two lids, it should have three. One for each tray, one for the bin. The bin should be 1/3 again bigger. The tools that came with it, are very nice. The scoop is sturdy, the tongs great quality. IT NEEDS ANOTHER LID. I do not know if they sell just the lid.

Just what I needed for my iced coffees. A durable and very well built product and a lot less expensive than an ice maker and the system keeps a steady flow while protecting the ice from unpleasant freezer odors. Love the product.
