These are a game changer for my multitude of buckets of aromatic ingredients I access daily. I keep 5-gallon buckets of powder that I need to keep sealed for maximum aroma and these do the trick. So far, out three different brands of buckets, I've had no problem with getting the lids on. It feels permanent, I can't imagine getting the rim off without damaging it. Its a very tight fit and you have to push very hard to get them on. A rubber mallet might do the trick too. The rims are flexible, though they might have an issue in very cold weather so best to warm them up first. The tops screw on easily and seem to make a good seal. Not sure if I would attempt exposure to rain, though if its really screwed on tightly it might just be fine. This 3-pack is also currently the best price for these types of lids if you don't mind the patriotic color scheme.

These are such a good deal for great quality. I have yet to see any better priced then this and easier to use. I purchased them for 5 gallon buckets I keep wheat berries in and they are easy to put on, and I love that they close really thight but are easy to open. I can stand or sit on them with out issue. They fit perfectly on the bucket and have now purchased another set

These are great durable lids tha5 snap on the 5 gallon buckets easily. They do take some work getting off. They fit on multiple brands of buckets also. Makes getting to the feed I store in them easy to get too.

I've been buying Gamma Seals for a few years now. They work well and are a better design than the cheap knock-offs. If you're storing something worth sealing, it pays to use a good seal like these. Some say the base part is difficult to install onto a bucket, but I have always just placed the seal on the rim, turned the bucket upside down, and either lean my weight onto the bottom of the bucket or just sit on the bucket and the rim will pop right on. Then, just flip the bucket back over and the lid is ready to screw on. Easy. I had a weird problem in the past where the blue ones would crack. The other colors I have used of this brand (white, black, red) have not cracked; only the blue ones. This may be coincidence since I haven't found anyone else that has had this specific issue. I don't stack anything heavy on top and nothing stored on top of the blue ones are any different than the things stored on top of the other color lids. Again, it could just be an isolated issue. We shall see. The seals do work very well, though. I have stored salt and sugar (in separate buckets) using these seals. I live where it is VERY hot and VERY humid but the seals kept the contents in perfect condition. I don't typically store these outdoors or in a hot shed or garage but I have transported them in a truck bed, for instance where they did get exposed to that heat and humidity and still held up fine.

Difficult to put on but once on they are tight and fit well! It will take a patience and a deadblow hammer and finessing but they fit really well and are definitely air/water tight! Quality/look is great! I used these with 3 different style/brand of 5 gallon and all worked well!

These worked great. Good seal. The only thing I can say is they’re hard to put on the bucket, but that’s OK because it means they’re really snug. The screw shut tight no leaking. Would recommend.
