Excellent quality
This adapter is a lifesaver! It’s truly plug-and-play, making transferring 4K videos and photos to my iPhone incredibly fast. The added charging port is a genius touch, so I never run out of battery while using my MIDI keyboard or flash drive. Excellent quality and highly recommended for creators!

Useful for connecting hard drive to an older iPad.
This works great to connect an external hard drive to my iPad with the Lightning port. The hard drive shows up in the Files App. It needs to be used with a powered USB hub as the iPad cannot power the drive.

Great Price, Durable, Exactly What I Was Looking For!
Works great and it is exactly what I was needing at a great price. What is nice about this one versus others is the very durable rubber reinforced connections at the block and the charging cord point which for me always seems to be the spot where mine always splits and wires become exposed!

Zero quality; should get zero stars
The pass-thru charging didn’t work until I restarted my iPhone. After that, I got about an hour’s use of this while still plugged into my known-good Lightning cable and power brick while running my Cobalt DAC off the USB port. Suddenly the entire gizmo stopped working after about an hour’s use. Now it won’t work at all. This goes back to amazon; lesson learned about cheap, ahem, Asian electronics. I’ve already ordered the genuine Apple version of this. Caveat emptor!

Very handy device for casting from a drive using your Apple device.
Was looking for a way to cast files from a flash drive to TV using my apple device. This gadget did the trick nicely. Interface was easy. Requires a phone charger.

Doesn’t Charge and Causes Audio Noise
The adapter’s power port is Lightning, not USB-C, and it does not charge the device even with a 20W original charger. It also causes speaker noise when using the USB port with a MIDI instrument like a piano.

Reliable Adapter for Powered Microphone
So far, no issues running it for an hour with power. The adapter perfectly runs a fifine k668 microphone when powering the adapter at an almost unnoticeable latency. Connectivity seems reliable and straightforward; my iPhone recognizes my microphone straight away like other USB adapters. It also manages to charge my iPhone 14 at the same time (10V & 2.25A = 22.5w brick). The cable and lightning male port feel really sturdy, almost like it's a genuine Apple adapter. However, the adapter itself feels hollow, where pressing into it feels like plastic in comparison to the cable and port's premium feel.
