At first, had to research a lot so help me decide either if I should buy this lens or sabe a LOT more and get another brand, being this the cheapest 24-70 I found, but after spending too much time reading reviews and watching some videos I went for it, and there are no regrets! I think the image is clear, autofocus works very fast, looks great in the whole zoom range, the only thing rhat could be an issue is the weight, it’s around 2 pounds (1 kg) I don’t usually do long shoots so I can work with it very well, my gimbal (RS4) seems confortable with it and my camera body (a7iv). If the budget is an issue for you just go for it, keep in mind the weight and nothing more unless you’re obe of those guys who likes to pixel peep, I’m not so found this lens great!

Good clean product. Works as expected. Well packaged and timely delivery

Very heavy. It fell from a 30cm/11inches distance and the mount broke. It almost broke my camera even. And the support doens't take responsability, when the exterior body is hard plastic but inside is a very cheap material

Great for photo however when using for video, the lens would not be able to keep an object in focus whenever it’s in auto focus. Holding the shutter button would focus on an object and then eventually the focus creep would make an entire frame blurry.

This is now my default lens. It is more reliable than my prime 50. Autofocus is sharp. It lives on my camera. My only request for future designs is a locking feature that keeps it from zooming when I’m carrying it around

It is a good lens, I liked the quality of the photos. And Rokinon makes good prime lenses. However, I returned it because I read some reviews of people that have experienced issues with the mount of this lens, just Google "samyang/rokinon 24 70mm f2.8 cracked mount". Despite its good external built quality. The internal plastic mount tends to brake after a while and out of nowhere. Being a very heavy lens, I was afraid it will happen the same to me. People have also complained about Rokinon's customer service, especially for Canada buyers. I hope they fix all these issues on a second generation of this lens, if so, I will defenitely buy it again.
