Beautiful, Relaxing, and Flexible
I absolutely love Let’s Go! To Japan! The artwork is gorgeous, and the theme feels so cozy and immersive. I especially appreciate that the game works great for solo play but also offers a smooth multiplayer experience. Whether I’m playing alone or with friends, planning a trip day by day feels relaxing and rewarding. The gameplay strikes a perfect balance—not too simple, but definitely not overthinky. It flows nicely, making it easy to enjoy without feeling overwhelmed. I love how I can focus on building my own itinerary and goals at my own pace, whether playing solo or alongside others.Pros:• Stunning, authentic artwork that really sets the mood• Flexible for solo or multiplayer play• Relaxing, light-to-medium strategy gameplay• Immersive travel theme with great card varietyCons:• Minimal player interaction, so it might not be ideal if you want a super social game• Large components can make setup and storage a bit bulkyThe game is priced around $50, which feels fair considering the beautiful artwork and high-quality components. If you value a relaxing, thematic experience with solo or multiplayer options, it’s worth the cost. However, if you’re looking for deep strategy or lots of player interaction, you might find it a bit pricey for what it offers.Overall, a wonderful game that’s become one of my favorites for both solo and group sessions!

Great and engaging game, well illustrated, not overly complicated
This is a fun game that might last as long as you are thinking about the options! You can also learn things about local festivities, costumes and culture, and a bit of history. Well designed, nice illustrations, sturdy materials. Well done!I will add that it is not easy for me to learn new complex games but I picked this up in no time.

Great game! Japanese knowledge not require required :)
This is a fun game for families and serious gamers. If you have been to Japan, it’s even better. If you have not it, it’s still great!

What a fun theme and so much fun to play!
This is a wonderful game with a cool Japanese cultural travel appeal. Easy to learn and so much fun to play. Everyone I've taught this to either wants to play it again or buy it.

Love this game!
I play this solo and love it. The illustrations are beautiful. I take my time and read some of the info on all the Japanese places. The rules are clear and the solo game works well. I have lost and won equally. It does take quite a bit of space because you still need 2 playing boards for the solo game but on a dining table or medium large coffee table, you should be ok. Quality of materials is good. Printing some of the tokens could be a bit more centered but not an issue for playing.

Peaceful game
A peaceful game. Best when played with friends who want to describe their trip while scoring up. Scoring takes as long as the game when the adventure is described - this vital part of the enjoyment is lost in the BGA adaptation

Fun, strategic, yet quick
Very fun and have played repeatedly. It's nice not to wait for everyone to take their turns. Not a lot of interaction but some.
