My F&D USB soundbar was not working, I opened it and found that USB cable was torn off from the board. Repairing it needs special tools and techniques. So instead of repairing the board I bought this. I got 3 pcb boards. 1st one for battery circuit, 2nd for amplifier and the 3rd for bluetooth. I didn't used the battery circuit. First found the + & - of the 5 V input of sound bar. Soldered both amplifier and bluetooth circuits with 5 V supply of the existing sound bar board. Then bluetooth left, right, ground signal points were soldered with amplifier boards. Right and left speakers wires were cut from the old board and soldered with amplifier board. It's very important to solder right polarity of speakers otherwise the speakers won't make sound. Every thing went fine and speaker is working. However the speakers are making slight hissing sound when idle and connected to some device. May be because of my bad soldering. Sound output is good. Very much enjoyable for listening old 50s -80 s songs. News and other YT channels on science, technology, study etc. However, audiophiles may not like it. This makes a chime sound when on, connected to a device and disconnected from a device, see the video. Important points before you proceed: 1) pcb boards are very small. 2 - 4 cm in length and width. Hence soldering with ordinary soldering iron will be extremely difficult. I faced it! You need fine tip (pencil tip) soldering iron for perfect soldering. 2. Never use voltage supply more than 5V (+/- 10%) overvoltage will fry the microchip. Connect correct polarity. 3. Left right ground signal points should be correctly connected. Else sound will be reversed or no sound. 4. While connecting the speakers to the amplifier board +/- polarity must be correct, else speakers won't make sound. 5. Use thin insulated wires. I have used thin wires of old tubelight brackets. You can also use 22- 28 gauge magnet wires for this purpose. I am fully satisfied with the performance of the bluetooth and amplifier circuit boards. This is an absolute value for money product and highly recommend this.

USB Battery Charger Module: The charger is okay but not reliable. It does not connect quickly, and the indicator light keeps blinking on and off, showing unstable charging. Bluetooth Audio Receiver: The Bluetooth device works fine initially, but it disconnects frequently, which becomes irritating during continuous use. PAM8403 Amplifier Board: For the first 10–15 days, the amplifier works very well. Sound is clear up to volume level 12, but the moment you increase it slightly, the sound starts cracking. After that, its performance slowly goes down, and within 30–40 days the board gets completely damaged. Conclusion: Good for short-term or experimental use, but not durable for long-term performance. Works well in the beginning but fails too soon.
