UMI Luxury Full Capacity 1200W step down 220v to 110v voltage converter

I love the design of this converter and was excited to have something on the counter that didn't look like a giant black brick. That said, this converter (unless mine is defective) simply does not properly regulate the power. I have a feeling it is a result of their "soft-start" texhnology. The result is a constant and objectively obvious fluxtuation (and ultimate decrease) in the motor's speed and a max output of only a few hundred watts even at the highest speed. (The 1350 watt Vitamix runs at inconsistent and much lower rpms than it should). Both the power output reading and the sound of the motor clearly indicate that the Vitamix is not operating as intended while being used with this converter. I can longer use my trusted appliance - solely for which I bought this converter - and I am out $120. The company has not responded to my requests to address this situation, so I can only assume this is a flaw across the board. I would caution any other buyers to avoid this product if being used for anything with a variable speed capabilities.

This is a little heavy equipment. I have a Keurig machine that only works on 110v and this can handle the 220v outlet with no problem. I think the maximum power as stated on the box is 2,800 watts. Keurig works at a wattage of 1800 watts. I could see the number on the readout Edit!! After 2 years, actually those 2 years only 2 weeks were used continuously, this product won't stay on. It's acfually dead. I have to downgrade the stars fro 5 stara to 1 star

Bought this last year for a move to the UK. Took a few months to ship over. Finally got to try it and it doesn't work. Output shows a 0 (zero) which according to the fine print instructions means it won't work. There is no reset. Money wasted with no return or warranty.

I bought this transformer in the US and brought it to Morocco to use it for my Kitchenaid mixer and it won't work. The output shows 100w at first but goes down to 0 in 5 seconds. Wasted money.

Not good enough. Packed up within 3 months of use.

I bought this item just before moving to Europe. After it arrived with rest of our stuff, it just didn’t turn on. Amazon was kind enough to process a return, but the seller never responded to any of my messages. So good luck if you get a faulty one.

Only has input no output quality was very bad until now l still have headache

We took it to Europe ( from Canada), we used it to run a 1500w steam iron and it worked flawlessly without any problems. Please mind the weight, it's almost 15 lb. I always took it out at security and one time it was held by security because it was too heavy but was released after they saw the specifications and realized what it does. Excellent Equipment until now.

I bought this to use my printer and tv in Europe. Great product it has a nice design.

I bought this for my uncle's kitchenaid stand mixer, the mixer was bought in canada, he lives in Portugal, as far as I know its been working great with daily use. It weights about as much as a rhino but that's to be expected from a transformer capable of withstanding this power.

Excellent product so far. I saw people saying not working because the display was showing zero on the right side. But this is the wattage and will change depending on the equipment you are using. I tried with a Yamaha receiver and it worked perfectly.

Le produit est arrivé assez rapidement. De l’extérieur le transformateur parait comme dans la description. Cependant je ne l'ai pas encore testé dans le pays du 220v.
