I bought this item for a little over $18 due to a 15% discount. Each box costs approximately $3.11/each. Its actually 1 box with 6 smaller boxes, each with 24 tea bags.

Are the tea bags made out of paper or plastic?

They are paper. The best quality hibiscus tea I've ever had! 5 stars *****!

There is nothing to indicate the tea leaves used are organic. Since the herbs come from various locations, onr must assume there is not organic controls practiced.
