excellent little item, Size is nice not to big, but has wide jaws. With excellent clipping & sharp. Be warned you could cut more then your toe nails with this nice set of clippers. If you have thick toe nails these should do the job. They have a safty lock. I had 2 awkward tow nails that other (smaller clippers could not help), but these babies sorted my problem. Price is nice. Would I recommend? 100% but as said be very careful. German made, what more can I say. Nice

A nicely designed and finished item with effective cutting blades that open wide enough to cater for thick toe nails. I Just wish it was slightly larger due to my large hands!

Now in my late sixties, I am afraid that one or two of my toe nails are thickening, and I find that regular nail scissors - or lighter nail clippers - don't do the job. I thought therefore that I would indulge in a heavier set of nail clippers, and they really do the trick. The clippers are sharp, and have a very satisfying weight to them. When the nails are clipped, the clippings actually stay in the mouth of the clippers, meaning that you're not having to search for where the clipped nails have shot off to. With thicker nails, they cut them with ease, painlessly. The action is smooth, and they store flat when not in use. Manufaturing values are very good, and they should last years. They come in a natty little tine with a faux velvet carrying pouch, too. Highly recommended product.

I bought these as normal clippers don’t cut the mustard, as most of the time you can’t get under the nail properly, not a problem with these, they open wide enough to get under the toe nail and cut neatly without too much trouble, it beats wresting with them,and as I have mobility issues bending low can sometime be a problem. Just make sure other toes and fingers are spread enough so as not to come in contact with the sides of the clipper as they really are sharp, but it cuts through thick nails like a hot knife through butter clever design which comes in a little draw string bag, and a tin to keep it in safely, very pleased with purchase…

First few uses were great. Then it got tired, and cutting toe nail, etc, became very difficult.

These clippers are super sharp and great at clipping finger nails cleanly without any need for filing afterwards . However whilst they are also great at clipping toenails, because you cannot clearly see what the lower blade is doing you can ( and I have) inadvertently slice a piece of your toe off at the same time . As for the supplied file it looks home made. Yes they are good but beware!

I love these nail clippers, I just received my second one today. Who knows I might break a nail while I'm out so I have one in my purse and the other one on my end table. I love the way it catches the finger nail or your toe nails. No need to run and get a broom to sweep the floor for flying nails all over the floor. They are sharp, very easy to use, the opening is perfect and if you just so happens to have a hang nail this item can cut them also. I recommend these clippers 100%

Hatte mir den Nagelknipser etwas größer vorgestellt..zumindest wirkte er auf dem Foto größer als er ist. Aber es passt trotzdem und er macht gut was er soll...empfehl ich gerne

Great overall. NOT the sharpest I've ever used. Not even close. But damn they do a fine job on thick nails. I can't remember the last time (maybe never) that my big toe nail clipping came off in one whole piece. These things have an incredible gap and those of you who have thick toe nails know what I'm talking about. The picture on the product page with the "yes" and "no" picture is a little confusing so let me say it in words which I think is a little easier to understand. When you're using these things place the lower blade on the underside of the nail before you start to squeeze. Because of the way the lower blade "swings" if you don't do this you're probably going to catch skin. But if you anchor below the nail and then squeeze it'll work fine. And the little tin it all came in was very nice. Maybe I won't lose them. A very thoughtful addition.

The clippers feels well made and works well. The clippers are really sharp. It cuts through the nails with no effort. It doesn't collect all of the nail clippings. There are openings on the sides of the clippers so clippings can fly out still. So that's disappointing since that's the reason I bought them for. The other annoying thing is the wide opening. I don't know any nails that need such a wide opening. It's an annoying "feature" as I have to keep holding the opening small. Overall, it works and i'll keep it. The sharpness of it makes cutting the nails easier. Just still expect nails to fly and expect to hold the opening close.
