I bought this previously at Ulta and several people in my house used it so I just repurchased on here. I think the price is good, I didn't have any complaints about the smell either. It doesn't smell like hair dye or anything like that. It's easy to use and you can use on wet or dry hair. It does lighten your hair. My hair had balayage coloring and it lightened the blond pieces and lightened the brown in my hair too. I'd recommend as a vegan friendly product for lightening hair.

I grew up using sun in so I was really excited to see this product for dak hair. Upon using it 2 times I barely saw any difference at all.

Love this product! Has a lovely scent — especially opposed to a chemical smell that many hair products do. Very user friendly!My hair was dry when I applied (can be damp or dry), and I used the blow dry method. It was super easy to apply & see results.Having dark hair, it can sometimes be hard to find at home hair lightening products. This is a great option! I noticed the biggest difference where my hair is thinner, like on the end of my hair & bangs (not pictured). People with thicker hair might want to try a few rounds to get the desired look! Definitely worth it!

The media could not be loaded. So far, so good. I sprayed it on my hair dry and sectioned it off. My hair also had product in it like, heat spray and leav-in conditioner. This is my hair after 1 use of the lightener, I used purple shampoo and deep conditioner as I have ALOT of red in my hair, to tone it.When I was little my hair would turn very blonde in the summer. So my hopes with this product is to bring out my natural highlights.I was very selective with the placement and chose to leave the crown of my head clipped up and so really the lightener is only in the middle section of my hair. I do notice a little bit of drying on the ends, but my hair was already in need of a trim. So I plan to trim it after maybe the 3rd application. Im excited to see how it turns out after applying it to damp hair without product. I am sure there will be a huge difference.

Love that this doesn't have harsh chemicals and actually works! I love using it to lighten up with the blow dryer once every couple of weeks!

To be sincere, it doesn't do what it should. It didn't change anything, I tried other products that actually show an effect after first application. The scent is good but for me it didn't do anything. I used it 4 times and I threw it away. I wasted money.

This did absolutely nothing to my hair. I want a refund!

I do my own balayage at home (I know, crazy) and I love this product for when my roots start to grow out. I'll just take wet hair from the shower and spray this in a few small sections on the top, blowdry it and see an immediate slight lightening of those sections. The result looks subtle and natural. For my medium auburn hair, it only lightens a couple of levels so if you're looking for a major difference, you probably need a highlight kit. But for the price point, I'm happy with the outcome. As other reviewers have said, it leaves your hair soft, not crunchy like some spray-in lighteners, and it doesn't have to be washed out after use.
