From the outset, it had been an unreasonably difficult time getting this phone to work. No SIM I put into this thing could give me remotely decent or consistent service. I first tried T-Mobile, as it is listed as being compatible. The best I could get was fast but constantly dropping service. I blew $130 on activation fees trying different carriers only to have the same problem every single time. I've troubleshooted on the desertcart page, checked with T-Mobile, searched far and wide on the internet to try to figure why this is even happening only to come up with nothing at all. I even returned it and bought a replacement in case of it being a hardware malfunction. No luck. Nokia and HMD offer NO legitimate means of technical support, only error messages on their websites, and fake numbers online. I've tried every troubleshooting tip I could find dozens of times. It's a real shame. I've always loved the UI of the Nokia 1.4, and this one is even more aesthetically pleasing. I love the simple build of it. Its presentation is perfect for me, inside and out - which is why I tried so hard for it. Questioning Amazon about this issue, they gave me a number to call, supposedly of Nokia Bell Labs, that is NOT in service. Zero (0) star.
