These modules are very acceptable to failure.
These modules are very acceptable to failure. A 5.0VDC they can be prone to fail as there is no over voltage protection on the PCB at all. I've had a lot of the amps fail just turning them off and on a couple of time during tests. I have had to shield these amplifiers to eliminate interference both to and from the amplifier, your better off buying the shielded one, less signal problems

Does not work
When connected to 5V the PCB draws 120mA, when RF signal applied at 150MHz current draw drops to 60mA. RF single strength drops 30dB and is not amplified. Either I received bad board or bad design. Unable to find a data sheet on the mentioned SBB5089Z. No information included with part. Product does not work as advertised.

Damn food preamp
Little amp but really pulls in the signals!!!!

It works, BUT
I bought 2 of them and tested them with 2 different instruments the R3465 spectrum analyzer with tracking generator and the liteVNA64 There was a 50dB DC to 18Ghz attenuator in the input to make sure the amplifier was not driven into saturation. The amplifiers did not make the published spec of 40db at 4Ghz. That is the only reason it has only 3 stars. The highest gain is 50db at 5Mhz, then it becomes flat with 41 db to around 550Mhz, 1Ghz 40db, 2Ghz 35db,3Ghz 32db, 4Ghz 27db, it does have gain at higher frequencies, 5Ghz 25db, 6Ghz 22db, 8Ghz 14db. Both amplifiers agree within +-2db. The reverse isolation at 1Ghz (my frequency of interest) is 34db.

Garbage
Burned out within 5 minutes. When it did run it had a very bad oscillation In gain. Indicating that it was built with poor components.

Ordered three but only two worked.
Very nice clean circuit boards.

Worked for a bit then died
It was working for a day then died. Trouble shoot it. Was getting steady 5volts to the device. Tested through a signal meter and no good. Tested strong before. Eh what can you do. Those things happen sometimes. I replaced it with a different one and it works
