Philips Norelco Shaver 7300, Rechargeable Wet & Dry Electric Shaver with SenseIQ Technology, Pop-up Trimmer, Charging Stand, Click-on Nose Trimmer, & Travel Case, S7887/92

I've been using Norelco Razors since 1980. Many of them. This 7100 design is one of the best - so far. I can't believe I like it enough to write a review. For the record, My favorite Norelco is the 8890-XL, my daily driver, which is about 10 years old. I rebuild it when needed. It shaves closely, is soft on the face, and I can shave closely under my nose easily. This 7100 may replace the 8890 as my favorite- time will tell, but the trajectory is there. LOL I have a 9000 which I got last year and am not too impressed with the shave, but I tolerate it. I switch between the 8890 and the 9000 daily. I occasionally check ebay for a NIB 8890, but far and few between. I typically get a new Norelco whenever they release the new models every year or two. I saw this on Amazon, and the new design caught my eye. It looks like a transformer. Lots of good reviews, a few complaints about not shaving under the nose easily (concern of mine). But I ordered one to try out. Over the years I've found out that the "all the bells and whistle" models are not worth the spend. So this 7100 for $99 is a good compromise. The 7100 is fairly quiet in operation. Slightly quieter than my 8890XL. The 7100 shave is FANTASTIC! The added plastic in the shaver face makes it glide on your face effortlessly. Smoother that my 8890. The cut is excellent as well- shaves closer than the 8890 too. I was VERY surprised. And, best of all, the angles on the shaver head makes it easy to shave under my nose. The shaver is the biggest one I've had so far. It dosen't look too big in the photos, but it is. The body is slender, but the head is on the larger size. The large size is due to the extra plastic that makes the head glide effortlessly over your skin. I didn't expect it to work so well. Give this 7100 a shot, you'll be glad you did. Enjoy!

I am pleasantly surprised that as a Black man who has to be careful of his shaving techniques, because of the potential problem of pseudofolliculitis barbae (razor bumps) I can use this everyday. I researched shavers that are recommended for Black men. This one came up, and was highly rated outside of Amazon. I may even have seen it as part of the testing program at Consumer Reports. I have shaved for nearly 50 years. This is my first rotary shaver. I had to replace my MG7750, which would no longer take a charge. I never knew that I could have as clean a shave a trim as I have enjoyed with this one, to the point where others are noticing the diffeence in my appearance. I do not use the charging cradle, because the top-heavy design of the shaver makes it wobble. I am happy to maintain blissful ignorance of the shaver's durability. I just plug the charger cord directly into the port on the shaver and lay it on its back. I only charge it once a week, and I use it daily. It is unplugged when not charging. I do this to extend the life of the battery. As stated above I only need to plug it in once a week, and it is always ready by the time of my next shave. I tried to make a video showing how clean a shave I get from it, but it disappeared after I recorded it. It is a great value, a good, bump-free, burn-free, fast shave. You can be done, head and face, in three to five, if you are perfectionist as I am, or less if you are neuro-typical. It cmes with a case in which you can fit all of the accessories. Cleaning is easy. ISince I do not have a cleaner, I remove the blade array, tap it lightly on the sink, the clippings come out and I discard them. The manufacturer recommends shaving dry for the cleanest results. They are right. I have a truly clean look, cleaner than I thought was possible without going to a professional barber on a daily basis.

IMHO, Philips rotary electric shavers are among the best you can buy. Some are better values than others and the 7200 versions seem to offer the best price to performance benefit. I have had several different Philips razors, and "downgraded" from an older 9000 series to the 7200 due to cost. So far, I am quite pleased. Fit, finish, and motor power are not quite premium, but they are better than the performance of other non-name brand units. Time will show how well it lasts but it is working great thus far with exceptional battery life. Shaves are close and fairly quick. The trimmer is a little awkward to use but is nice to have. I'd recommend getting this to anyone looking for a quality electric shaver. ~ Kort

My old Norelco was pulling at my whiskers making shaving a morning torture experience. Then I bought the 7200 and it is like running a silk pillow over my face. Hard to believe my whiskers are gone, even a two day growth. Cleans under running water too. A bit more expensive than the basic electric and a little clumsy to use at first, but worth it. Shave is close for an electric. But my beard is white.

Seriously if you're looking for a good electric razor, don't waste your time and go ahead and buy this one because this is the third one we've tried and he loves this thing so much he talks about it every time he uses it. it cuts extremely close. he never gets nicks. he never complains about it pulling hair and there's just nothing negative to say about it.

Nice smooth shave. Sideburns shaper also good. I use it only for dry shaving (not wet shaving). Cleans well with warm water. Fun to see the app give me scores everyday for my shaving. Good buy overall.

Good product n clean shave

Me gusto la rasuradora, se ve de muy buena calidad, los materiales se sienten bien construidos, además se ve elegante y fácil de utilizar, solo es mencionar que esta rasuradora no incluye la base ni el estuche de viaje, solo viene en la caja: - La rasuradora - Un cable de corriente - Una tapa - Un cepillo chico para limpieza Sin embargo por el precio considero que no es necesario el estuche de viaje, la otra versión que si lo contiene cuesta casi 1000 pesos mas, y esos estuches se pueden conseguir muy económicos, aunque no es problema si lo pones en tu maleta de ropa, no se daña. La carga si es muy rápida, en solo 40 min tenia cargada toda la batería, me agrada el modo de solo cargarlo 5 min y ya tienes batería para una rasurada, es algo que lo distingue de los modelos inferiores. En general se me hace un buen producto, de muy buena calidad y muy recomendable, sobre todo por el precio y las prestaciones que te da.

Rasura muy bien y no irrita.

Philips is a good brand. The quality is good and gives nice, close shaves. Battery life is also good, enough for 15+ shaves before recharging. The only downside is it’s cleaning brush.
