Premium Feel and Fun Interactions, but the Add-On Is Overpriced
This is a genuinely fun and well-made fidget. The SRTODTG 2-Stage Slide Metal Fidget Slider delivers on all fronts: it spins fast, the clicks are crisp and satisfying, and the sliding action feels smooth and deliberate. There’s a good weight to it without being too heavy, and the finish feels solid and premium in hand. Everything about it feels intentional and well-engineered. This is the kind of fidget you keep picking up without thinking about it. It also comes with tools, which is a big plus. Being able to tighten, adjust, or swap components without hunting for your own tools makes a difference and shows some thought went into the overall user experience. I also purchased the SRTODTG Mechanical Bolt Push Egg Fidget Slider attachment that mounts on top. Functionally, it’s nice to have and adds another interaction layer, but the price-to-value ratio is hard to justify. It costs just as much as the main fidget itself, which feels excessive for what it adds. Is it fun? Yes. Is it necessary? Not really. That said, even with that caveat, this is still a very enjoyable setup overall. The core fidget stands strong on its own, and the add-on is a “nice extra” rather than a must-have. Bottom line: the main fidget is absolutely worth it—high quality, satisfying mechanics, and great tactile feedback. The add-on is optional and overpriced for what it is, but still fun if you don’t mind the extra cost.

Nice fidget toy, quality is questionable
Update on 7/8/2025: Just thought I'd share some updates after messing with the fidget toy. First, putting a stronger spring did not improve the sound. I put a pen spring in that is slightly longer than the one it comes with, but it ended up making it quieter. I went to the product page of the real one, and it turns out the real one has what they call "4mm tetroxide Teflon beads". I looked into it, and it looks like that isn't a real thing. I believe they were referring to PTFE beads. This one comes with what seems like a metal bead. I may purchase some PTFE beads to try it out and see if that makes a difference in the sound. For the spinner, I did some research, and it turns out that the reason the spinner gets worse is because of the fact that the ball bearing it has from the factory has some lube, which makes it quiet. I cleaned mine out with isopropyl alcohol and dried it out, and it spins almost as much as it did when it was new. I tried putting some lubricant, and that made it very quiet and smooth, but it would only spin for like 2 seconds, so I cleaned it out entirely. It seems that ball bearings spin freely the best when they have no lube and are very clean. When you add lube, it makes it more likely to gather dust, which will make it perform worse over time. I found a ratchet kit on AliExpress for about $30, so I bought it, and I will update my review once I add it on. Original review: I don't own the real Musketeer, so I can't compare it to the real one, but the toy itself is fun. I'll give 4 stars, since it does have the same functions as the real one, at 1/4 the price. The quality of it is a bit questionable, but it still functions, and I'm happy. The slider has been consistent. I wish it came with the other hardware the real one does, and you'd expect it to since it says you can replace the spring and ball, but it does not. The sliding isn't as tactile as I'd like it to be, but it isn't so bad. I read that replacing the spring with a pen spring may help, so I plan on trying that. It doesn't quite sound like a zippo when you slide it (the real one does), but it does make a pinging noise that is kind of like a zippo. After playing with the spinner for a few days, it has definitely become a lot less smooth. When I first got it, the spinner would spin for a very long time (probably up to a minute), but now it only goes for about 15 seconds and it sounds like it's rubbing against something (probably just need to clean it). Over time. The screws that hold the bearing in (not the actual spinner) got loose, and tightening those is quite difficult without the right tools. I really wished the seller had the ratcheting set on their Amazon store as well, especially since the pictures say you can install it. While I like the spinner, I would much rather have the ratchet. Hopefully they add it in the future. I installed the push buttons the seller has on their store, and I'd say it definitely improves the toy a lot. I highly recommend getting it (or just buy the version that includes it). I haven't had any other screws walk out on me, but I did tighten them when I got the toy.

Great knockoff
Good: Heavy and solid. Spinner is smooth and long-spinning. Bolt mechanism feels smooth and clicky, has a slight "ping" like a tuning fork fidget. Not so good: Bolt mechanism has a bit of wobble/play. I would prefer it to click into each position and feel tight. Overall this is a good quality replica of the original.

Buy if you're looking for the alternative, but you get for what you pay for.
EDIT: Alright, now I'm changing the review. The images they ripped are from the original Muyi Muskateer (Obviously). However, I thought I'd be able to swap the bearing out in the bead, as it says I should be able to do. I don't know what they sealed this thing with but it is NOT coming apart. False advertisement. So, I ordered a replacement... The replacement is nothing but the base unit. No spinner, and its missing literally half the parts! Absolutely ridiculous. The product? Thoroughly mediocre. The company in charge of shipping these? Even worse. Beware buying. Honestly? Its not terrible! If you're looking for an alternative to the expensive EDC toys that are out there, this is a pretty good one. The other reviews are accurate in their findings. - The bolt action is weak, but can be corrected and made a little sharper either with a better spring or even by stretching out the one provided. You can also replace the bearing in the mechanism if you can find one. 4mm ceramic bearing's aren't hard to find. - You pay for what you get. In comparison to the actual Musketeer, it's a little weak in terms of its build quality and functionality, but, again, you are paying for the fact that you're not getting the $250+ item. That alone takes the cake. - The biggest weakness of this thing is the spinner. The metal screws holding the armor plates in place are awful, and after 5 long spins, you can feel the bearings are off balance. I plan on replacing it with the ratcheting mod, so it shouldn't be a big deal for much longer. However, the -1 star is due to the spinner bearing. One of the things I do plan on doing is buying actual Musketeer mods and seeing if they fit the knock off. From what I am seeing, it should be a "yes" as they are exactly the same in dimensions. Overall, I am to the point in my life where buying a hunk of metal that can click for $200 is absolutely ridiculous. If you're in the same boat, this $32 hunk of metal is absolutely a gateway into fidget toys and with some tweaking and modifications, it can be as good as the original.
