This is a must tool in your ceramic kit
I've been using the black ceramic pencil for years until recently. When I bought the Pasler Underglaze Pottery Pencil Kit on a whim, I was surprised at how much I used it in my bisque glazing projects. It took me to another level of design: outlining, gradation, etc. I should have bought it years ago! The cute metal box containing the pencils is an added perk since it keeps my kit neat and easily accessible. The price is a bit steep, but you get what you pay for: quality.

Light, spotty coverage
These are terrible. They do not work on cones six white ceramic. I tried to make it as thick and dark as I could, and this is all that happened (see photo)

Easy to Use, Great Results
I got this for my mom who is a beginner at ceramics. She was really excited to be able to try it out and use it on a few pieces. They were as easy to use as drawing with a normal colored pencil and you could really get a lot of fine lines and detail out of the pencil. Her pieces came out really nicely!

I have tried over and over again to get these to work. I cannot get any color on to my pottery from these pencils no matter what I do.
