I purchased this because I cannot seem to do the liquid acrylic application myself. This seemed like it was easier, and I like to have my nails done, so instead of spending $60+ on my nails, I bought this and gave it a go. I will say I will NEVER go back to getting my nails done at a salon! If I do them myself using this kit, there is less of a chance of getting infections and I can do them like I want whenever I want. It is simple to use if you follow the directions. Filing down to the shape and style you want is the most difficult part of this I think unless you have a nail dremmel...which I highly recommend. I also found that if you use this kit right, your nails will last 3+ weeks compared to the average 2 weeks when professionally done. I finally took mine off after 3 weeks because my nails were growing out quickly and they started to look trashy. They would still be on today (5 weeks total) if I had left them alone. The removal process is lengthy though. They do have to be soaked off with pure acetone (20 mins per nail or hand however you choose to do it) and they still don't come off easily. Get you some cuticle oil, nail primer, and nail oil for treatment before and after using this. your nails will thank you. but i highly recommend this kit to anyone!

Great kit - love that it came with the dipping tray! Using dipping powder for long-lasting, STRONG nails, is a bit of an "art" as well as a "skill". I am someone who was accustomed to paying a professional nail salon technician $40 to do this for me once-a-month for many years. Then the COVID-19 shut-down forced me to learn how to do it for myself. I watched a few youtube videos, read lots of product reviews, and landed with the KISS Salon Dip Professional Dipping System. I also bought a "MelodySusie Portable Electric Nail Drill, Compact Efile Electrical Professional Nail File Kit", and use my 180/100 grit nail files, buffer file, and Acetone. I also purchased lint-free wipes, which are super helpful. I've used the included "natural" nail tips on a few fingers, which work GREAT! They are made just the right thickness, so they are easy to file down and smooth out so they look like my actual nails. The instructions included come in very tiny print, so I used my copier machine to enlarge them 250%, so they are easy to read. My online research informed me to make sure each nail bed is totally oil-free by wiping with acetone before using the gel-glue (first step before dipping). One time I skipped this and my dip-nails began to "lift" much sooner. The whole procedure to apply a full set of nails takes me roughly 4 hours to completion (mostly because I am a newbie at shaping/filing them). I am sure it will get faster as I become more experienced. The Hardest part for me - removing the product. After the powder has set, and its time to shape them, or when its time to remove the old and begin a new set, I am still learning to file the old stuff off without OVER-filing the edges of my nails (I end up with small bleeding and then scabs around the nailbed - ouch & yuck; side note; even my professional nail tech over-filed/cut one or two of my nail-edges more often than not). But, still - these heal in about 3-4 days. Best of all, my dip nails last for a month & sometimes even longer! Bottom line - worth every penny and all the effort! I am saving $35/month on average, considering I spent about $5/month (averaging my 1st year costs annually of the Melody-Suisse E-file and all supplies over the past year). Of course, that does not include the "cost" of my time (4 hours/month - vs. 1.5 hours at the salon). Still, that's $420/year in savings... every penny counts these days! Hope this was helpful!

I'm so impressed with this product. It's easy to use, and it lasts three weeks. And the price is amazing! I can do my nails three times, which saves me so much money versus going to the salon. I usually buy an SNS color if I want to add a color.

These stay on for close to two weeks if your hands aren't in water all the time. Way better than having to hit a nail salon. File included doesn't hold up that great for all the filing you have to do on them because most of the nails are slightly too big for my hands.

I am obsessed with this nail kit. You get two sets in each kit, one french tip and one for polish. So you are basically paying $6.50 for a full set! The photo in my review was taken 15 days after i first put them on! This is only my second time doing them and although it does take me about an hour to do them , it is not hard to do at all. These are saving me so much money from getting my nails done every three weeks at a salon. Although they don’t look as good as a professional salon i don’t mind at all. I will take these for $6.50 vs paying $60+ at a salon. I will reserve my salon trips for special occasions.

First I want to say everything came in the packaging as described I was happy about that. I suggest getting an actual nail tip cutter because nail trimmer and scissors cut the square edge to rounded duck shape which took a lot of filing to get to where the picture I posted looks. Further more could be my small rounded nails but the fake tip wouldn’t adhere all the way down to my actual nail which left gaps. Next time I will not use a fake nail and or order nails more to fit my small nails, an actual nail tip cutter so the nails don’t get all bent and use my own quick dry nail glue to glue the nails on less sloppy and I’m sure faster drying. The gel application it self is effortless and you just have to know where to begin to build that dip up! My tip start the first coat in the middle and keep working yourself back to your cuticle. I’ve been getting my nails done at the Koreans in Brooklyn since i was in my teens. The smell of this product does resemble the smell of a nail salon. Please wear a mask and ensures toddlers and infants are not in the area. With that said....I’m not sure if I’ll ever return to a nail salon again. Why? Why would I? This product is awesome! Easy to use. The directions are simple, FOLLOW THEM! And if you are a person who loves doing your own nails anyway but want the inches, the salon look, acrylic for long lasting nails, this is the product for you. Just add this simple, easy to use tip and or acrylic package to your routine. It gave me the salon look i wanted at home. I’m impressed by its simplicity. One thing i couldn’t stand about salons were the use of drills? Why do you have to put so much powder near the cuticles just to file them down with a drill? No More! You can modify the powder distributed on your own nail bed to your liking! So! Nail salons can run you anywhere btw $20 to $250 bucks right? Well this is just $20. And if you use the kit precisely. Don’t make a mess. You’ll get four uses out of the kit. Meaning you’re paying $5. for a full set. And if you’re not using the packaged tips, you may get another use or two out of just the acrylic. Now, I saw someone had trouble removing the acrylic from their nails. May i suggest, using acetone. But prep the nail for the acetone first! How? Well! Take off the nail polish first with a cotton ball. Then file down the acrylic as much as you can until the gel like substance appear shaven. Then soak your nails in aluminum foil filled acetone cotton balls. Let that sit until the acrylic has pellet off your nails. This requires patients. I usually get a pedicure while this is being done.

Rarely do I write a review, but I felt it necessary. Now I'm the girl that goes to the nail shop, faithfully. Love Love Love my long ghetto nails and usually spend over $100 just on my nails alone (without the pedi). This kit is a game changer. My nail tech is going to forget my name and what I look like lol. This is only day 2 and I have to finish my other hand but you can see how awesome it looks without the polish. Ladies who have the same guilty ghetto pleasure as me and like long and XL nails. The powder is tiny and you won't get another full set out of it. Possibly a fill. But no complaints here I'll just buy more powder. This is my first time trying the dip method but not doing my own nails. It was super easy, minimal mess, and they feel strong and sturdy. I would suggest to anyone tired of leaving the nail shop spending $150-$200. I'm about to stock up on dipping powders, rhinestones, and charms. Will come back in a week or two to give an update.

I love the brand kiss, I have use them before, this is a great product it comes with everything you need. I found it to be a little thick but it was my first time doing dip powder so that could be why.

Great 2 do nails at home and came out professionally looking.

Like this product. Was relatively easy to use. Had to file the sides if some of the tips to match my nails but not a big deal. Would buy again
