Incorrect inscription lettering
I purchased this St. Benedict keychain and really wanted to love it. It’s lightweight, which may be fine though I’m unsure how it will hold up over time. The stamping itself does show nice detail overall, and the imagery is clear enough to appreciate. However, my concern is with the lettering on the side of the medal that carries the cross and inscriptions. The details there are not fully accurate. Where it should read “VRSNSMV,” the first “S” for Satana is missing, this is crucial to the "Begone" part of the prayer. And where it should say “SMQLIVB,” there is an “O” instead of a “Q.” Crucial to "The things you offer are evil." For some, this may not be a big issue. But for me, the inscriptions hold spiritual meaning and are part of the prayer and protection associated with the St. Benedict medal. When the lettering is incomplete or incorrect, it makes the piece feel less whole and not fully aligned with its intended purpose. Because of that, I decided to return it.
