Very good system for my house
I replaced an older set of Orbi's (slower) with this new set. They are must faster and give me the full band width of my provider through out my home. Setup was easy as I had a learning curve from my original set. I did experience one problem: I have a long house. My internet connection comes into one end of the house. I set the main router there and put two satellite units inline down the centerline of the house. The second satellite unit (furthest away from the main unit) does not connect to the intermediate placed unit. Rather it connects to the main router--sometimes with 'good' reception and other times with 'poor' reception. After a couple of hours with Orbi tech help, I found out that the satellite units always tries to connect to the main router, even if another satellite is providing a stronger signal--supposedly 'this provides a faster connection.' Do not understand why this is the case since I do get a 'poor' connection to the main router at times on the second satellite unit. Looks like I wasted my money on getting a second satellite unit. Even with this problem, I am getting full bandwidth throughout the house.

Worth every penny! Best network solution for our large home with thicker walls.
The biggest thing to know —if tech isn’t your first language — you plug the main Orbi into your existing router box that’s plugged into the wall. The other Orbi is its “satellite” and helps the internet speed and connection on different floors or areas of the house. This is the WiFi part. This was the easiest home network system I’ve ever hooked up. I’m astounded signal strength is maintained everyone at max right now. The app made it super easy. Signal is FANTASTIC and we have a 4,000+ sq foot house. Only using 2 and strong from corner to corner. I got it all set up within an hour. I love being able to rename the network, label all the connected devices, and control my kid’s individual devices to limit screen time. There’s a pause button next to each connected device listed in the app. If you have a garage hooked to this network be sure to do the travel limits on the door after you change to the new network in your garage door opener app (it’s a safety feature) Then it will connect. This was the only hurdle I encountered. And found results with Reddit and a quick YouTube video. Netgear, I’m super happy so far. Thanks for making a solid product.

Great product
This is awesome. To be honest when having a big house or yard this is great i have wifi all around the house and yard. So i put the satellite about 200ft away from the router and when i ran speed test i was getting same speed from wifi from standing 5ft away from modem and 500 ft away. The app is great at seeing who is connected to wifi, changing password, and you can be anywhere and see the wifi as well as running speed test, updates etc. this is the 3rd one i have bought just because it so much and have used them as presents for family that has been struggling with getting wifi to reach around the house or slow speeds. I really like there is 2 different wifi 2g and 5g but when searching for wifi there is only one wifi that pops up but it’s for both networks.

Do not buy
Been buying Netgear WiFi equipment for much of the last 20 years: this will be the absolute last Netgear equipment I buy. Router works fine. Satellite was alright: sync was finicky, but got it working, seemed fine. First accidental unplug, and the satellite is now a brick. Once it powers on, the lights never stop flashing, never reconnects to the router. Power cycled it. Hard reset it with the paper clip. Plugged it in with ethernet. Singularly terrible: would sign up for a class action if anyone is interested. Lost 8 hours of my life trying to figure it out, Netgear support forums are pointless. Finally found a Reddit thread indicating that this is a boot error and recovery is largely impossible. Stay away from the RBS750P.

Not reliable.
This is the second Orbi router and satellite that we have bought. The first set worked great for several years. I ordered another Orbi, because we had no problems with the first set. This set works okay. It intermittently drops the internet, and we have to reset it to get it to work. I would not recommend buying these. They are not reliable.

Very good mesh system. *disable VPN to make setup easier.
Our rbr 752 mesh system was getting to be several years old, I just happened to catch the good sale price for the RBK752P on Amazon and decided it was time to replace the original mesh as they do have a service life span and I would rather be ahead of the game. The setup was a bit of a challenge, the vpn we use kept blocking the new installation, best to disable the vpn if you use one...makes life easier. After that little bump in the road everything else went smooth, all of the devices in our house connected automatically as the same credentials were used for the new Orbi as the old, so no having to manually connect everything to the internet again. I have noticed that download speeds are better and more consistant than the aged original mesh system. Our house is around 3200 Sqft and the router and one satellite cover everything to include outdoor cameras. Being that the Orbi satellite from the old system is compatible with the new Orbi 752P it could be used as a 2nd satellite if needed for additional range. So, keep that in mind. The limited time sale price was very good and was the main driver in the decision to purchase. Our original Orbi RBR 752 mesh system was very reliable and I can't recall ever having to reset it during its many years of service. It will now go into storage as a backup if ever needed. If your internet speed is 1 Gig or less and up to 75 devices the Orbi RBK752P could be a good choice for your home.
