Killer Pads protective equipment Wristguard

The moulded shape of the guard wraps around your hand offering much great protection than most traditional wrist guards. The straps are the correct length to hold the guard tightly to your hand. This is a common problem with many other brands, I have used many wrist guards (for skateboarding and snowboarding) and they often have straps that are so long the velcro doesn't meet correctly when you pull them tight. These are perfect. Everything lines up when they are securely fastened. I intended to wear these under my snowboard mittens but they are too bulky, I can't get the mitten over the pad at all, so I'm just going to use them when skateboarding and buy a different design for under the mittens.

These pads are really tough and it seems to not matter that they don't have the additional brace on the back. I have fallen hard in them and not felt it. I really like the compactness so I can wear my watch still, just a bit further up my arm and my favorite feature is being able to pull them on like a glove instead of trying to juggle with straps!

Ordered M. Had to give it my 9year old which I bought for myself. These are made for someone who has tiny hands or our under 10s. If you order, make sure you are able to return if don't fit. Item looks good but worthless if can't be used.

So much better than the ones with the curved plastic placed on the wrist as that is what ends up hurting you. These ones are flat against your wrist/palm and snug.

These are so much better than your standard wrist guards. They add protection to a wider area of your palm and last longer due to this wider area distributing impact better. These also stay in place much better than a standard wrist guard and will, therefore, be more comfortable. They can be a little difficult to slide on, but fight perfect once in place. A nice benefit to these guards, is the benefits they add to sliding. Because of the wide plate, you can slide on these when doing hard turns, slides for roller derby, jam-skate dances, or even inline skate slide tricks. These wrist guards will help add tricks to your library and, of course, help protect that precious wrist from damage. I would say one downside to these is they can make planting on quarter pipes more difficult as the plate has less friction on a coping. So planting is still possible, but takes practice to get it right again. Don't worry though, cause you have plenty of finger movement to compensate for this. If you like using wrist guards, then these are probably the best ones you can get. They last a long time and are only like $20. Very much worth the cost. So get them already. Your wrists will thank you and you might start sliding with the best of them.
