Heat your beverage, but not your mug in the microwave. I like this mug very much! Due to neuropathy, I don't have feeling in my hands and had burned me fingers on coffee mugs ( even though I waited for it to cool ). I also have issues with grip and have dropped and broken so many coffee cups. My occupational therapist recommended this mug for me and she was spot on. I can drink my coffee hot and not risk burning my hand as the mug truly stays cool to the touch even after a full minute in the microwave ( that is the longest I have microwaved it so far, but I have no doubt longer times are okay too). The texture is not too rough, but also not slippery so it is easier to grip. The handle fits 3 adult finger perfectly with the pinky below it also making it easier to hold if you have any issues with your hands. I like the colors ( which match nicely with this companies plates and bowls. The lid fits securely and screws on and off easily, but remains tight while in use. I like the design that allows you to disassemble the sio lid for thorough cleaning. If you are looking for spill proof this is not it, but the manufacturer/seller are clear in the description that it is not spill proof. Overall I am extremely pleased with this product. I will buy more and I absolutely recommend it, especially for preventing burnt fingers/ hands when heating your beverage/ soup in the microwave. The instructions also say not to use chlorine products when cleaning it, which I believe includes Steramite ( the disinfecting cleaner used in restaurants as required by health codes in many states/ counties ) so do pay attention to such directions. Good old soap and hot water.

I love the microwavable mugs. They are the perfect size for my daily morning cups of tea. They are insulated so are not too hot when getting out of the microwave. The rubber bottoms make it hard to tip over as well.

We were looking for a hospital type cup that did not look hospital issued. Atleast 16oz, with a lid, the sip slot holds a straw, a handle and is nearly weightless since our senior has trouble picking up regular stainless steel lined tumblers. We use two craft ice cubes and the drink lasts from 10am to late afternoon. The cup does not sweat and is perfect for our use. We do not put this in the microwave or dishwasher and have found no leaks in the lids on the ones we received. We have 3 cups - two of this design and one larger.Value for money:Inexpensive option that our loved one can manage on her own and has fun colors and does not look hospital issued

Purchased primarily because they are microwave safe so I could re-heat coffee or tea if it cooled before finishing. They are nice enough; lightweight and stable with rubber ring on bottom to prevent slipping and sliding. That being said, as other reviewers have mentioned, they really aren't insulated to speak of. Don't hold heat any better than a regular ceramic mug. I miss the old Aladdin mugs. Had the same one for 30 years. Well insulated. Tight fitting cap. Pretty much bulletproof.

Great inexpensive cups. I have had this set about 10 days now. They truly keep coffee warm for, at a minimum, of 30 minutes. Before I had these I had to hurry and drink my coffee before it got cold. No longer a problem with these little gems. They are also very lightweight, the lid does not leak, and are micro safe and dishwasher friendly. So glad I made the decision to purchase these cups!!

These are great especially if you have someone with a form of palsy. They are absolutely wonderful! You can also reheat your coffee in the microwave so you never have cold coffee.

Light weight, sturdy enough, & love the size, however, we even though the lid screws on the spout cover will allow liquid to leak out. If you don't mind that, it's cute cup & big enough. But I carry mine in my lunch box so I should've paid attention to that detail
