Hazet Baba Pomegranate Turkish Delight, 454 g

I do like these but it gets four stars instead of five because the Pomegranate taste is not quite there. It is sweet and a little bit tart but it tastes more cherry then Pomegranate. I am a big fan of Pomegranates and eagerly wait for them to come into season each year. I know the flavor quite well and this, if anything is a synthetic pomegranate flavor like 'grape' flavor candy tastes nothing like the fruit. I will buy this brand again but not this particular flavor.

I've always wanted to try Turkish Delights since I read The Chronicles of Narnia as a child. Decided to jump in and buy a box. I really enjoyed them. The flavor was sweet, but never overwhelming. My only complaint is that I wish these weren't so firm. It's just a tad softer than your average orange slices. I would definitely purchase again, though.

Oh, my, this is good lokum. The flavor is delicious; I think it's pretty pomegranate-flavored rather than anything else (it's more on the sweet end than the tart, but it's quite definitely pomegranate). It was also very fresh when it arrived; the texture is perfect. My one complaint is a kind of universal complaint with many brands of lokum: there always looks like there's going to be more in the box than there actually is. I'm not sure there can ever be *enough* lokum in the box, though, when it's delicious.
