Solid Omega-3, highly recommended!
Doesn't taste too strong at all.. Price is good, and bottle is nice. High quality and easy to guzzle down. I don't think the smell is bad. No issues at all! Although a slightly lower price would be nice, even if it means a different material bottle instead of glass.

Still best deal despite recent price hike
I'm changing my review from 1 star to 4. This product recently increased in price by ~50%, however, after doing the math, this is still the best deal in terms of grams of DHA and EPA per dollar. The taste is also good.

Product great, Amazon shipping not
This is the 2nd time I have received this GLASS bottle of algal oil LOOSE in a larger box. How it didn't break, is a miracle. The product is wonderful. I like the taste and that it comes as a liquid I can add to my smoothie. Very helpful for a vegan. My lower # of stars is an Amazon issue with packing. The package also contained cloth items which would have been useless if the bottles broke. Wake up, Amazon! you need to train your employees better on packaging.

Taste is unique but not unpleasant
Compared to fish oil, I really prefer this product. I have a hard time swallowing pills so I prefer liquids/chewables. The flavor is a little too unique to call it “great,” yet it’s not unpleasant and I’m used to it now. Best part is no fishy breath or burps!

Company doesn't recommend for anyone under 18 & doesn't have critical component information
There are various types of sunflower oil--low, mid, and high oleic fatty acid oils. Oleic fatty acids are monounsaturated. Depending on the medical experts you consult, you'll hear/read different reports about monounsaturated fatty acids' effects on human health. What concerns me about this product, however, is the lack of a label with the Amazon advertisement. This is critical because it's only once you've gotten the supplement that you can read that a teaspoon serving provides 900 mg omega-three fatty acids (good) in 2 g total of "algal oil" (what's the constitution of the remaining 1.1 g of algal oil?) mixed with the remainder sunflower oil. This means each one teaspoon serving is providing roughly 2.5g (or slightly more) of sunflower oil. If the sunflower oil is mid-oleic, which is common in the US, this provides about 26% linoleic (omega-6) fatty acids or 650 mg omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids. But if the sunflower oil is low-oleic, this may be providing 60% omega-6 or about 1500 mg of omega-6. Obviously, without knowing what type of sunflower oil the supplement uses, the consumer may be frustrating their goal of drastically improving their omega-3 to omega-6 ratios, considering so much else in our diet may already be high in omega-6 fatty acids. This product's label ought to divulge to consumers the type of sunflower oil used in its manufacture since this information is critical to the very purpose of buying the supplement for many of us--changing the relative consumption of omega-3 to omega-6 fatty acids. The advertisement here on Amazon ought to at least show the breakdown of ingredients so consumers can email the manufacturer or distributor to get these questions answered to help us decide whether or not to purchase. ***************After Calling Nature's Way********************** Our family doesn't want to increase our omega-3 intake at the cost of ALSO increasing our omega-6 intake. Ideally, consumers already flooded with omega-6 PUFAs in so much else in our diet ought to have access to a rich omega-3 algal source without having to consume any additional omega-6 PUFAs. Sherrie at Nature's Way customer service told me (1) they don't have information about how much sunflower oil is actually used to create their product, and (2) they do not recommend this supplement for anyone under the age of 18 (?!!). What's in the supplement that makes it not recommendable for minors? And why is this information NOT present on Amazon? I'm sure many people are buying this supplement to give to their children. And why doesn't the company have information about how much and what type of sunflower oil they use given that sunflower oil is among the many plant oils that contribute to the overconsumption of omega-6 fatty acids in the West? Very suspicious. We'll be returning the product to Amazon and won't be buying this omega-3 supplement for our family again.

Unpleasantly strong and cloyingly sweet artificial flavors
The flavoring was much more intense and sweet than I had expected. I prefer alternative products with a much more subtle and unsweetened lemon/citrus flavors. Hopefully, there will be unflavored products available.
