It's an unfinished tank. If you are buying for a project bike I don't understand the problem and why people complain. Mine is very good quality. I wish it was offered with the petcock on the right side instead but because it's symmetry I just cut off the bung and welded it to the other side my self. Will be buying another for my next project. I leak tested it after I welded the bung and it has zero issues.

Seems like a good tank for the price. I modified it to fit a CM400. Only gave it 4 stars because it came with a little surface rust, nothing major. I’ll update if any issues arise.

Exceeded my expectations in a few ways. First, it arrived a week and a half early which was super convenient for me. The tank arrived and looks exactly as advertised and the measurements are also correct as they are shown in the pictures. It’s definitely not a pop and play, though. There’s a 98% chance that you’ll have to do some jury-rigging to get this tank to mount onto most bikes, including mine. This tank was also very easy to paint. I didn’t sand it at all, I just went straight to the primer, base silver coat, then the red anodized coat on top as well as a clear coat and man… that’s a good looking tank. As far as durability goes, it doesn’t feel flimsy or like it will dent easily. Only time can tell that one. Overall though, good value for the money. I dig it.

Its not like me to leave a review. Good or bad… however.. ive been building this little korean bike and this tanks is the only thing that comes close to the dimensions. So i spent hours fabricating and getting everything tacked welded primed and painted… just for it to leak at the seam! So aggrivated… the time materials and a very impatient customer on the other end. Thanks alot. I bought a second one because again its tye only thing that comes close.. and lets see what happens! Reguardless i have to cut all my work back out refab and start over! Lets see if u see this and decide to refund me at least on one tank!

Welds look good. Haven't done a leak test but I'm gonna seal it anyway. It is an unfinished tank. Meaning sharp edges and possible surface rust. Shape wise it's perfect for a cafe tank.
