Easy to Use - Makes Great Nut Milk
UPDATE: I have been using this for about 7-8 months. In the meantime, I bought one of the “cow” milk makers thinking I needed to make a larger volume of nut milk. I don’t. It just means I may have more waste. Yes, I have to use a nut milk bag to strain it after it’s made, but honestly, that takes maybe 2 minutes and the bag cleans up so easily (turn it inside out over a waste basket or whatever, knock off the nut meal and then rinse, throw a small amount of dish soap on it, rub together and rinse - takes MAYBE 90 seconds). This is my favorite nut milk maker. I will only use this to make soy milk because it cooks the soy milk like it needs to be (20 minute cycle), but love using it for cashew creamer and for almond milk. It’s the easiest to make and I feel like I have less nut pulp in my milks because I use a nut bag to strain it. The “cow” leaves a fair amount of pulp in the milk. If you don’t drink a lot of nut milk (I use it in cereal, cooking and baking), this is definitely a solid choice. I bought this a few weeks back and have waited to review it after I used it a bit. So far I’ve made soy milk, almond milk (several times) and cashew creamer. I used the nut bags to strain both the soy & almond milks and they were very smooth. I ran the almond milk through 2 cycles before straining it. I like my nut milk without additives (dates/flavoring). I only added a dash of salt. They both turned out great. I didn’t strain the cashew cream, but did run it through 2 cycles and there is no nut residue in the bottom of the jar after refrigeration (I still shake it before using it). I did add a dash of salt, date syrup and a little homemade vanilla to it (still basically tastes plain) and it’s perfect for my coffee. The size of the machine is both a pro and a con. The pro is I can make smaller batches (2 cups) and I have less waste (zero waste except for the nut meal) than when I bought nut milk. The con is I can’t make enough soy milk in one batch to make yogurt. I like to make yogurt with a quart of soy milk (just soybeans & water - no other additives) using Westsoy and 2 probiotic capsules (opened & whisked into the soy milk). This is not big enough to make a quart in one sitting and would require a couple of batches. I’ll try it with a smaller amount to see if it works and is worth the extra steps. It’d be nice to make yogurt with homemade nut milk. I’ll update once I try it. Bottom line - it’s incredibly easy to use & clean (set it and forget it - it does the work), makes nut milk quickly, comes with basic recipes and eliminates waste if you don’t use enough nut milk to purchase half gallon containers - plus no additives or fillers - it’s clean. The nut milk tastes great and there are endless possibilities for flavors and different combinations. I like this machine and recommend it. It’s definitely a nice starter machine for anyone curious about making their own nut milk that won’t break the bank!

Quirky, But Good
Comparatively speaking, this machine is nice. I used to have a larger, more popular machine that took much longer to use and clean. My old machine was louder than this one, but none of these are quiet. For reference, I use this for oat milk hot cocoa, which includes oats, a date, peppermint sticks, pecans, dark chocolate chips and powder, and salt. This machine grinds my milk fine and does not require a strainer. I never use the included bags. Cleaning is easy, as it comes with nice brushes. The cleaning function doesn't save a lot of time unless something scorches in the bottom. I run the 2 minute clean and let it soak until a more convenient time. Residue usually lifts off with the large brush. Settings are not the most convenient or exact. One "button" is pressed until the correct setting blinks, then I must press start. If my groggy morning hands are not steady I go too far. For self clean this is 8 pushes. The 5 minute grind setting is particularly useful if ingredients did not soak. It does not take the entire 5 minutes for my ingredients. Careful here: I use the HOT (boiling) setting. Theoretically it heats for 7 minutes before grinding intermittently for 15 more. This is why I have to soak or grind before using this setting. Food scalds on the bottom, especially chocolate. THE MILK IS A DIFFERENT TEMPERATURE EVERY TIME! Sometimes it is dangerously hot, sometimes it is perfect, and sometimes it is lukewarm. Test before giving to children. There are cooler settings if you do not want a warm drink. The timer is nice to have, although I cannot set a specific time for it to come on. It only has a number of hours, beginning at eight. I set a nightly alarm on my phone as a reminder of when to set the desired number of hours for my drink to be ready when I wake up. While this machine is quirky and needs improving, it is more convenient than my larger, more expensive machine. ***Update (6/25). My machine still works great. I figured out I can pre grind the night before, then add quick oats on top. The hottest setting gets extremely hot, as advertised.

Make your own blends!
Excellent nut milk maker. Simple UI and gets the job the done nicely. I appreciate the nice capacity and the fact that it has 10 blades. The extra blades compared to other nut milk makers make short work of the blending process and should reduce the amount of pulp and residue. I love the built in heater that allows for warm milk and the timer function allows you to set it up and then wake up to freshly made nut milk. My favorite part of having your own nut milk machine is being able to make your own blends of nuts to match the consistency that you are looking for. For example, I add a few cashews in when making oat milk and it just makes it so much richer and creamier! Give a try!

Wonderful Soy Milk Making Machine
I've been looking for a soymilk maker for sometime. After seeing it on Amazon, I decided to give it a try. Wow, the result is great! The soy milk came out smooth and delicious. The machine comes with filter bag, which can squeeze out fine soybean grinding powder. However, we find it unnecessary to do so. The taste is just good. What I love most about the machine is that I don’t even need to presoak the beans. I just put them in the machine, add water and then select the “Boil” button. Once the machine stops, we just pull it out and drink it. The capacity is just right for me and my wife. Now we drink soy milk for breakfast instead of milk. With the delay function, we can put the soybeans into the machine at night and have it ready to drink the next morning. I can leave it unattended as it has anti-overheating and auto-shutoff features for safe operation. Super convenient. This machine is also fast, and the automatic cleaning feature makes cleanup easy. Not to mention there are 9 different functions that allow you to make other plant-based milks. Overall, I am very pleased with the performance of this nut milk maker which I highly recommend.

The machine got burned
I was excited to try this machine, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. Shortly after starting, it overheated and ended up getting burned. I followed the instructions carefully, so I was disappointed by this lack of durability. For the price, I expected better quality and longer-lasting performance. If improvements are made to prevent overheating, it could be a good product. Until then, I’d be cautious about purchasing.

Disappointing
I was actually in love with this nut milk maker and was using it couple times a week. I even bought another one for a my mom in Inlaw since she’s a veterinarian. Unfortunately, after about 3 months of use, it just stopped working. I attempted to do the troubleshooting and trying all the recommended fixes, it still wouldn’t turn on or function properly. It’s such a shame because I was bragging to my family that it was my top 5 favorite products to buy ever.

Not for us
We retuned. A lot of work for a little milk.
