I love this book and its series! The book is full of great stories and comprehension questions! The format is well done! The stories are not too long or too short. This is definitely perfect for a teacher or a tutor or homeschoolers. It will be a great thing in your collection and classroom! I highly recommend it. This book is good reading comprehension for kids. Some of the stories are grade level, and some seem a bit more abstract than what my 3rd grader could understand and answer. However, I trust they are appropriate given the author's experience. I wish it was a little bit longer. It has about 8 stories with questions. I wish it was around 20 or more stories. Great job helping our kids out of their comfort zones for reading.

We homeschool and have a 4th grader so when I came across this book I jumped at the chance to review and bring it home. This is a fantastic addition to our curriculum and perfectly age appropriate for this reader level. It's engaging and helped teach core lessons as part of our schooling. I am highly recommending this for other homeschoolers.

Interesting and very helpful. The texts are interesting - a bit of a time travel. Not only are they engaging, but you can also learn a lot about history. Answers are included. Maybe it could be more interesting graphically, but overall it's ok. ​

As a father with an 8 year ild Who struggles with comprehension l, this workbook allows plenty of practice for him. The checklist reminds him of what do when we reads each passage and builds good habits

I'd like to see this same format released as an ongoing series of workbooks with each focused on a specific area (science, history, tech, etc) rather than the seemingly random approach here. Some of the vocabulary feels a bit off for the age range as well. Well-structured. Suggested improvements: include highlighted vocab words in each section, and sample essay answers (this only shows the multiple choice).
