By far the best CD-mounted phone-holder I’ve tested so far. Overall great design, and very easy to use. Fits snug & sturdy in the CD player slot, magnet feels strong, and barely shakes at all when I drive! I love that it came with two different style adjustment screws (I chose the round one for a more OEM look), and it fit so snug I don’t even need to use the extra rubber strips it came with. We’ll see how long the ball pivot stays snug, will update review if anything changes. Pictures show it safely mounted in a 2012 Genesis Sedan.

I had been looking for a good place to mount my phone in my Lexus without sticking anything to the dashboard or windshield, and this was the perfect solution. The CD slot mount fits securely, the magnet is incredibly strong, and my phone hasn't budged, even over bumps. It's easy to pop my phone on and off, and it keeps everything within easy reach without blocking my view. I honestly wish I had found this sooner. One of my favorite car accessories!

Wow. Very sturdy and looks high quality. Matches my BMW’s black interior trim well and secures very firmly into the CD player. Magnet is strong and holds my iPhone 16+ easily. A very good solution, indeed!

This is the second CD Slot phone holder I've purchased. The other was from another company. It was great but not Magsafe. My old phone didn't have Magsafe so no problem. Found this one and really liked that the ring was connected to another piece that can swivel. This setup allows for placing the phone up higher or down lower - perhaps 2" of range. Or a bit to the left or right. This makes it great for a variety of cars where each is a bit different in placement of the CD player, stereo screen, buttons, etc. On mine, I can now see the screen better than with the last mount. I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because when removing the phone it moves the ring a bit if not done carefully. Moving the ring makes the ball joint come a bit loose. And then a bit more loose the next time ... So, I have to tighten the ball joint often. It's inconvenient but acceptable. The way this mount tightens into the CD slot works fairly well but I think that everyone will have some play with it not being extremely tight with movement up and down. However, this doesn't bother me at all no matter the roads I've driven on - but haven't gone off road. Note that I've had to tighten the wing nut twice but that really hasn't been inconvenient. Overall, very good mount for my needs.

So happy with this purchase. CD hold and magnet hold very strong even with my heavy iPhone 17 pro max on bumpy NYC roads!! My old holder connected to the air vents and broke off several vents on the bumpy roads with my new heavier phone and this replacement holder works perfectly.

CD player in our Jeep is broke so I figured I'd take advantage of the wasted slot. This thing works great. Slide it in CD slot and tighten the nut. All done. Magnet is plenty strong too!! Works great!!

This phone holder is great! I’ve had it for awhile now, it doesn’t loosen when put in correctly… the magnet is strong! And it was cheap! My boyfriend liked mine so much he bought one for his truck!

..it stayed put in the cd slot. My experience was not as good as other customers. For clarity, I'm using mine in the '18 Subaru Forester and it's not working out for me. The magnet on the magsafe adapter is a strong magnet, as expected but you won't be able to adjust the angle of your phone without pulling the entire holder out of the cd slot. It has a lot of adjustment options so you can find that perfect angle. As it stands, I won't be using this as it isn't secure in my cd slot.

Make sure you insert the entire back end into the CD slot, then tighten the butterfly screw to ensure the phone holder is secure. After that, just enjoy. Product received as advertised. Solid design—does not flop around on bumpy roads. Tested in both a 2012 Mazda and a 2016 Honda. If your phone does not use MagSafe or your case is thick, the included magnetic metal disk, which attaches to your phone or case, is a handy addition. VERDICT: Well-built, practical, and worth the price if you want a secure, no-nonsense mount.
