Sturdy
Sturdy and works good at cleaning up the rakes that my wife blows. I also used it to hold up one of those blow-up Snoopy Halloween lawn ornaments. Just put a river rock on the metal pan and the handle through the loop in Snoopy and it worked. I like that it is metal and doesn't feel like it will break and it will stand the California sun. It's also neat that the handle for the pan part has a little plastic holder for the broom so it is easy to store together.

Nice
Love very sturdy and light weight. Better than the plastic or wooden dust pans ive used in the past.

Handy and well made
For being very light guage aluminum, this sweeper is very well designed, and comes with a vinyl tapered uplift strip at the front of the pan. the last one I owned for 12 years, but never liked the flimsy plastic, and it was hard to get the fine particles to enter the pan, as the front edge was thicker and had no uplift strip. This one will be in the closet and serve well for years to come.

Pretty good. Better than plastic
Works great. Much better than the plastic one I got initially that warped on the bottom quickly. The handle could be longer but it is ok as is. Not as durable as I was hoping as it is also starting to develop bumps as to prevent it from sitting on the ground flush.

All metal dust pan with rubber lip, handle is good height no bending over
Well made, no sharp edges. It even includes a rubber "lip" for the dust pan. It's not a "huge" dustpan by any means but big enough for most household uses. I have an extra large plastic dustpan for those times i'm sweeping up bits of cardboard etc. Easy to assemble, you may want a little bit of heavy duty thread lock or some cloth tape to wrap around the handle joins to prevent it from loosening over time. The handle on this comes in several pieces and just due to the nature of the beast it will come loose over time. You can fight this a few ways but the simplest is probably just to wrap a bit of cloth tape around each join so that if you wanted to take it apart at some point you'd still have the option, you could also crush the pipe a little with pliers or drill a small hole and put a screw into each join. Worth the price they charged for it, should last awhile and I like that the handle piece has a broom holder on it. The broom holder is for a very skinny handle like that on a half sized broom which is fine, it just probably will not hold a full sized broom unless it's one of those with a metal handle that's unusually small diameter. Used this several times, the rubber lip is extra good at helping you get fine dust and dirt into the pan. Very well designed and it's light and can be shoved in a corner when not being used pretty easily.

The Long Handled Dust Pan is Great
I bought the combination with the broom and the dark metal squarish dustpan. The dustpan seems well made, and it's handle snaps together with springloaded pins long enough to hold the joints together until you press them in to take the handle apart. With the handle assembled, there was no play, everything was tightly joined. The broom, however, is a little wider than the dustbin, so dirt at the ends of the broom will not be swept into the dust bin unless you again use the broom to sweep the dirt together and into the dustbin. And the broom's handle screws together, but except for where the handle screws into the broomhead, all the threads are metal. I was able to tighten the whole with my bare hands such that it required some effort to take the handle apart. The other issue I noticed is that the front edge of the dustbin has a slight curve to it, such that the center part of the edge is lower than the sides. This might correct itself when the bin is placed on the floor--I didn't check for that. I instead placed the center of the edge against my knee and gently but firmly pulled down on the sides in stages--frequently pausing to check how much of the bend I had corrected. After three such tries, I had the bottom pretty much perfectly straight (I checked it with a straight edge to be sure). Not a big problem. If you try this, you might want to wear gloves, although I had no problem from the metal edges. But proceed slowly because you do not want to apply too much force which could kink the edge, so proceed slowly. I bought this to use on the cement floor of my garage, so a metal one is ideal for that environment. For those of you who might want to buy a broom separately, the metal dustbin I bought is sold separately on Amazon by the same seller, I think for $17. For the combination of quality and price, the dust bin alone is 5 stars.

Sturdy and Comfortable – Makes Cleanup So Much Easier
This heavy-duty upright dustpan is a back-saver! The 35" long handle means no more bending over, and the metal construction feels solid and durable. It stands up on its own and locks open, which is great for quick, hands-free sweeping. I use it in the garage, kitchen, and even outside in the yard—it handles all types of debris with ease. Perfect for home or commercial use. Definitely one of the best dustpans I’ve owned

too many problems to use
First of all: mind did not come with the vinyl strip on the dustpan. The LEAST of the probems...this thing is poorly designed and made. The metal is on step above aluminum foil. I put it togehter. Took a long time because the threads on the on the dustpan part weren't threaded properly. Then I swept up some bits on the floor. Went to dump them into the trash, but the dustpan fell right off. I carefully put it together agin, making double sure the bottom piece was tightened all of the way. Same thing happened again. And seeing how flimsly this thing is, i'm not surprised. Piece of junk as far as I'm concerned.
