The engineering that went into making this cleaner is truly amazing. Smonet rubber blades scrubs floors and walls all the way up to the pool surface. Smonet will climb stairs and gets itself unstuck. You may still need to brush pool and stairs but not as much as I had to with Polaris cleaner. It does not collect the very fine debris but neither did my Polaris. I’m happy with Smonet performance. I like Smonet much better than my old Polaris pool cleaner. The Polaris cost much more and requires an additional pump. Polaris is like a low tech, overpriced, water toy, with hose that pushes streams of water around to do the cleaning and debris collecting. Polaris does not scrub, does not climb walls up high, it got stuck on stairs and the hose sometimes got tangled. Polaris can only go as far as the hose lets it. Pros: Smonet is better than Polaris at cleaning and scrubbing. Costs less than Polaris. Has good warranty policy. Customer service has been good. Easy to operate. (Connects to phone also but I didn’t use this feature.) Cons: Great when working but mine stopped working before a year. You have to put robot in pool to clean and take out to charge (I do it daily). When I go on vacation or am not able to put Smonet robot in the pool, I switch, leaving my old Polaris cleaner in the pool set up on a timer. Perhaps a finer mesh basket would help get the fine debris. Not complaining. If they could make the robot jump in the pool to clean and jump out and go charge itself, that would be amazing. If my Smonet runs for years to come, it will be worth the investment.

I purchased this robotic pool vacuum in April 2024. I does an excellent job and has saved me a lot of time (I do my own pool maintenance). Recently the unit would not charge and was completely dead. I contacted Smonet and they instructed me to try a couple of things that did not work. I was then referred to a higher level technician who contacted me the very next day (Howard). He instructed me to try some things and he wanted me to send some video and pics of the results....this was accomplished via email. After completing the tasks, Howard contacted me the next day and said they would replace the unit. I was totally caught off guard. I would like to say that the customer service I received was perhaps the best I have ever experienced! Obviously they stand behind their product and I highly recommend this pool Vac.

I purchased this unit in April of last year, received it at the end of April. Worked OK. The beginning of this season, I had difficulty getting it to charge. Finally was able to get it going. I had my pool resurfaced in March. Used it 3 times, everything OK. Suddenly while in operation, the rubber band on the wheel broke during the operation. The bottom of my newly resurfaced pool is gouged in 3 or 4 places. The customer service sucks. I have been trying to get a new rubber band for the wheel. Everyone speaks Chinese, very poor communication, they are hours ahead of us and you cannot understand their English. Want photos of everything the machine was doing, etc. I am not a tech person, but did my best to comply. It has been weeks and still no belt. This unit got favorable reviews so I bought it. It has been a nightmare. One month and still no replacement wheel rubber tracks. Rep said "because of tariffs" SO! The least I can do is leave an accurate review of my horror story. I was so happy when I got it to work again. Not fabulous unit, but fair, for small particles at bottom. Oh, my beutiful pool, now gouged. I am so disgusted.

Performs very well, picks up fine debris and leaves with no problem, battery lasts 150 mins as advertised (enough to cover my fairly large pool), and great customer service. After a year, my robot suddenly would not respond. Within 24 hours of calling, they confirmed the battery adapter and battery were good and shipped me a new robot. Arrived a few days later and works great.

Well price priced and solid features for in ground pool cleaning robot. Can do walls, floors or both. Easy to follow settings both on the robot (button) or phone app. Traction excellent going up walls. Weight reasonable. Easy to remove from pool w/ hook and handle. Easy to clean debris bin. My only issue is that the speaker died after 1 year and the battery charger pins rusted. However, the vendor (SMONET) troubleshot these issues and sent a replacement robot within 2 weeks.

Pool cleaner works great and as advertised. We did run into the issue that the battery stopped charging just a little past the 1 year warranty. Contacted customer service and they immediately responded and after determining the problem they sent a brand new pool cleaner. Very happy with this purchase.

I haven't had any major issue with the pool robot since I bought it a year and a half ago. The cleaning ability is amazing and was always satisfied. The only thing that I noticed lately was it doesn't last long in the pool. I was thinking that the battery is going and needed to be replaced. I called Smonet customer service and they facilitated the process of sending me a new pool cleaner. If in the future I need a pool robot, this pool vacuum is highly recommended and you'll also get great customer service. Thank you, Howard for an exemplary customer service.

This bad boy was a champion for a whole entire year and then it fell to pieces. Vaccine flap broke: a built a new one. Plug cover rotted off where it connects to the body. No fix for that. Plug cover became brittle and presumably not water tight. Final straw, it won’t take charge. Will make a better reef than a pool cleaner now.
